Roman Pshenychnyi, a 1st year cadet of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, won a gold medal in the boxing championship of the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi. According to the results of the competition, Roman took first place in the weight category up to 86 kg.

The first optional class of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024 on the topic "Features of Criminal Law Policy in the Time of War" was held by Yurii Orlov, Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA.

Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1, Lieutenant Colonel Alina Piddubna, together with the Head of the Department for Investigation of Crimes in the Field of Economic and Official Activities of the Investigation Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, Senior Lieutenant Alina Kosovska, conducted a binary class.

Representatives of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with the participation of the personnel department of Kryvyi Rih Regional Department of the National Police in Dnipro Oblast held career guidance meetings with high school students from Kryvyi Rih schools in Dnipro Oblast: Kryvyi Rih Central City Lyceum, Kryvyi Rih Lyceum No. 4 and Zelenodil Lyceum.

Mykhailo Maloholovchuk, Oleksandr Tymchenko and Serhii Rohovyi, 2nd year cadets of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, conducted a series of career guidance activities with high school students of Vinnytsia region during their internship.

A scientific and practical manual "Investigation of War Crimes and War-Related Criminal Offenses: Criminal Law, Criminal Procedural and Forensic Aspects" was published, prepared by a team of scientists from the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs under the general editorship of the Rector of the University, Doctor of Law, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine Valerii Sokurenko.

An online meeting with 11th grade students of Viitovetskyi Lyceum of Viitovetska Village Council of Khmelnytskyi District of Khmelnytskyi Region was held by Iryna Kazanchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Process of the Faculty No. 1.

With the assistance of the Main Department of the National Police in Ternopil region, meetings were held with graduates and class teachers of the secondary school No. 1 and the educational complex "Secondary school No. 3 - Roman Andriashyk Gymnasium" in Borshchiv, Ternopil region.

A regular meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law was held, which was attended by cadets of the Faculties №№ 1-4. The meeting was held online and offline. During the meeting, chaired by Associate Professor Stanislav Ivanov, topical issues related to changes in the law of Ukraine under martial law were discussed.

Vasyl Korniienko, Head of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-Medical Training of the Faculty No. 1, together with Olena Matarykina, Head of the Molecular Genetic Research Sector of the Biological Research and Accounting Department of Kharkiv Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, conducted binary classes on the discipline "Forensic means and methods of investigating certain criminal offenses".
