As part of career guidance work, Oleksandr Khan, a lecturer at the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1, held an online meeting with students of Andrushivka Secondary School of I-III degrees and Brykiv Gymnasium of Shumsk City Council of Kremenets District of Ternopil Region.

Senior district police officer of Lozova District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Kharkiv Region, Police Captain Roman Vorobiov, together with Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the Faculty No. 1, Police Colonel Iryna Kazanchuk, conducted a binary lesson for 1st year cadets of Faculty No. 3 on "Administrative Offenses Encroaching on Property" in the discipline "Fundamentals of Administrative and Jurisdictional Activities".

Traditionally, before the graduation ceremony at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, shoulder straps are presented. Today, at the university locations in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi and Sumy regions, graduating cadets received lieutenant's shoulder straps.

In Lviv, the kettlebell lifting championship of the PSC "Dynamo" of Ukraine among the national teams of higher education institutions belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard of Ukraine and other central executive bodies, whose activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, took place.

A year ago, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan signed a Declaration of Cooperation. During the visit of the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko to the Polish university in December 2023, an agreement was reached on the participation of higher education students, adjuncts, doctoral students, research and teaching staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in exchange programs and study visits to the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.

Together with border guards, cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs patrol certain sections of the border in Chernivtsi region and serve at checkpoints. By helping to protect law and order at the state border, the cadets gain the necessary practical experience for their future work.

Employees of the Recruitment and Career Guidance Department together with representatives of the Faculties №№ 1-4 and Kremenchuk Flight College of KhNUIA held a meeting with students from all regions of Ukraine on the peculiarities of this year's admission and training at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs by state order and at the expense of individuals and legal entities.

Yuliia Zahumenna, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty No. 1, together with Ruslan Honcharuk, Head of the Public Order Sector of the Community Relations Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, held a binary seminar class on the History of State and Law of Foreign Countries for the cadets of Faculty No. 1

For the cadets of the Faculties №№ 1-4 of KhNUIA, the curators of the educational work of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held conversations on anti-corruption topics. The following issues were discussed during the events: "What is corruption and what are the causes of its occurrence?", "Does this phenomenon affect all citizens of the state?", "What is the responsibility for committing corruption?".

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, under the general editorship of the Rector of the University, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Valerii Sokurenko, a practical guide "Memo for Graduates of Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on Documenting Crimes Related to the Armed Aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine" was published, prepared by the scientists of KhNUIA and employees of practical units.
