As part of the training at the School of Junior Commanders of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Vice-Rector of the University, Police Colonel Serhii Bortnyk met with junior commanders of cadet units.
The Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko introduced the Dean of the Faculty № 2, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor, Police Captain Vasyl Kikinchuk to the university staff. Until recently, he held the position of Deputy Dean for Educational and Methodological Work of the Faculty № 1.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held the certification of applicants for the second (master's) level of higher education in the specialty 081 "Law" (police), which was organized in the form of a comprehensive exam in the disciplines "Criminal Justice: Legal Doctrines and Principles of Lawmaking" and "Public Law: Practice of Interpretation and Application".
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted a career guidance meeting with graduates of Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum "Slavutynka" of Khmelnytskyi Regional Council. Future applicants were introduced to the history of the university, told about the specifics of training cadets in various specialties, the peculiarities of the admission campaign in 2024 and the prospects for future employment after graduation from the police university.
Oleksandr Volkovis, Leading Inspector of the Emergency Prevention Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, and senior lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3 Mykhailo Inshenokov and Iryna Shutiak conducted a binary lesson for freshmen of the Faculty No. 1.
For the 2nd year cadets of the Faculty No. 1, the class on Environmental Law was conducted by Police Lieutenant Ihor Huzhevskyi, investigator of the Investigation Department for Crimes Against Life and Health of the Investigation Department of Pryluky District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Chernihiv Oblast, and Tamara Yatsenko, senior lecturer at the Department of Labor and Commercial Law of the Faculty No. 2.
Police Lieutenant Serhii Cherkaskyi, a detective of the Criminal Police Department of Poltava District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Poltava Region, together with Nataliia Olendra, a lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, conducted a binary lesson on "Robbery" for the first-year students of the Faculty № 1.
On the occasion of the Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes, an online video lecture was held for higher education students of the Faculties №№ 1-4, 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with the participation of Andrii Pavlenko, a participant of the Revolution of Dignity, and Olha Salo, Deputy Director of the Museum of the Revolution of Dignity.
The participants honored the memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, who gave their lives defending the principles of democracy, freedom and independence of Ukraine, and the right of Ukrainians to determine their future. The topic "Problems of legal support of the organization and activities of the National Police of Ukraine and other law enforcement agencies since the beginning of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine" was offered for discussion.
A class on Constitutional Law was held for the cadets of the Faculty No. 1 by Ivan Kharchenko, a lawyer and member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, and Vadym Maltsev, a lecturer at the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty No. 4, Senior Police Lieutenant.
