In Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a class was held as part of official training on the prevention of drug addiction among personnel, detection of cases of drug use, as well as identification of persons involved in their distribution among young people.

On the eve of Ukraine Unity Day of and the 85th anniversary of the birth of the Ukrainian dissident poet, human rights defender, literary critic, translator, Hero of Ukraine Vasyl Stus, cadets of faculties No. 2 and No. 3 took part in the literary and artistic event "Vasyl Stus - a figure that unites Ukraine ", which took place within the framework of the traditional Stus readings in Vinnytsia Regional Scientific Universal Library named after V. Otamanovskyi.
At Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, studies at the School of Pedagogical Excellence for the 2022/2023 academic year are ongoing. A class was held on the topic "Speech competence as one of the factors in the formation of the professional image of a lecturer of a higher education institution", the lecturer of which was the assistant professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies, Faculty No. 2, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Inna Holopych.
All cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs will receive the skills to provide first psychological aid thanks to the introduction of the training “Crisis and Growth: Mental Health and Assistance to Survivors of Trauma”, developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
On January 16, Ukraine has the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Donetsk Airport. Graduates of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs honored the memory of servicemen and volunteers who showed courage and heroism for 242 days while defending Donetsk airport. As a sign of respect and gratitude for their bravery, the cadets put flowers at the memorial.
Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - First Vice-Rector Oleksandr Morhunov, Vice-Rector Anatolii Klochko, Dean of the Faculty No. 2 Ihor Nazarenko, Dean of the Faculty No. 3 Hennadii Zvirianskyi, course officers and staff of the university once again joined the donor movement and donated blood and its components for the needs military personnel.

Donating in time of war is one of the most important ways to save the lives of our wounded warriors. From the first days of the Russian aggression, Ukrainians formed queues for blood service centers. The staff and cadets of the university and its structural subdivisions — Sumy branch, Kremenchuk Flight College — have been and remain active participants in the donor movement for many years.
