Towards mental health through culture

At the invitation of the Department of Humanitarian Policy of Vinnytsia Regional Military Academy, cadets of Faculties № 2 and № 3, led by Andrii Prokhorov, a specialist of the leisure department of the social and humanitarian work department, took part in the cultural and educational event "Improving mental health by promoting historical and cultural heritage".

Meeting of cadets with a military medic

The cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with the Dean of the Faculty № 3, Police Major Hennadii Zvirianskyi took part in a meeting with military medic Andrii Varchuk, who has been serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

International internship

Olena Makarova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Faculty № 3, Police Major, completed an international distance learning internship at the Netherlands Business Academy in the field of Communication as a Factor of Transparency in Social Interaction: Psychological, Historical, Legal, Economic and Political Dimensions.

Participation of KhNUIA cadets in the national-patriotic game

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police Captain Oleksandr Skliar together with the cadets of the TSP "SHIELD" of KhNUIA took part in the second stage of the game "Sokil" ("Dzhura") in Khmelnytskyi region.

A class on first psychological aid was held for the employees of KhNUIA.

Under the chairmanship of the First Vice-Rector, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Viktor Vasylenko, a training session on the basics of first psychological aid was held for certified university employees at all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Viktor Vasylenko emphasized the importance of mastering the techniques of providing psychological assistance and overcoming stress for police officers to use in various situations of service and everyday life.

As part of the VidNOVA:UA program, a youth exchange took place in Pereiaslav, Kyiv Oblast, aimed at engaging young people in rebuilding Ukraine and normalizing life in communities affected by the war with the aggressor country.

Curators of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held discussions for higher education students of the faculties №№ 1-4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on compliance with business etiquette and the role of etiquette in the life of society in general.

KhNUIA cadets help a lost child

The 2nd year cadets of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Ivan Shysh and Vladyslav Tkachenko, returning home after studying, saw a young boy unaccompanied by adults. They asked the child where he was from and if he had any family nearby. The boy was frightened and could not explain where he lived or where his mother was, so the cadets immediately called the police by calling 102.
