The Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko introduced the first Vice-Rector to the staff. It is Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, Police Lieutenant Colonel Viktor Vasylenko. According to the Rector, "Viktor Mykhailovych is an experienced specialist, a balanced and tolerant person, tested in the extreme conditions of martial law. I count on his professionalism, knowledge and skills."

The team of KhNUIA became the winner in bullet shooting

On the basis of Vinnytsia regional organization of the FSO "Dynamo" of Ukraine in Vinnytsia region, a bullet shooting competition was held under the program of complex competitions "Dynamiada - 2023", in which six national teams - representatives of the territorial organizations of the Dynamo Society of Vinnytsia region and the city of Kharkiv - took part.

For a year now, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has been training future police officers in Vinnytsia. The institution has temporarily changed its location due to the outbreak of full-scale war, and its faculties are located in different Ukrainian cities: Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Sumy, and Kremenchuk.
