Nataliia Pistrenko, the Head of the Scientific Circle, a Lecturer of the Department of Fundamental and Legal Sciences of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with Kseniia Hurtova, a Lecturer of the Department, held a meeting of the scientific circle on the Zoom platform.

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the Faculty No. 6 passed the remote advanced training courses on various topics in October.

Volodymyr Kroitor, Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Proceedings of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part remotely in a meeting of Kharkiv and Donbas Regional Justice Reforms Council. The meeting participants discussed the issues of the transitional justice concept.

Nataliia Kobylko, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty No. 6, Candidate of Philological Sciences passed advanced training on the course “Very Verified: online course on media literacy”, the main purpose of which was to teach the listeners to navigate the information and recognize misinformation and propaganda.

Olena Syniavska, the Professor of the Department of Law-Enforcement Activity and Policeistics took part in the work of the subcommittee 262 Law-Enforcement Activity within the work of the Scientific and Methodological Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The International Organization of Law Students and Young Lawyers (ELSA), together with the Faculty No. 6, invites students to participate in the Round Table on the Practice of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in Ukraine. The topic of the meeting was “Preparation for the 8-th Kharkiv Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual Directions of Practical Psychology and Psychotherapy” (Kharkiv City, December 16, 2020)”.

A scientific and creativity competition on financial security and financial investigations has been announced for 10-11 grades students by the Faculty № 6 (Law and Mass Communications) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The purpose of the competition is to increase financial literacy among school graduates in Ukraine, level of knowledge about the history of financial science and the revival of traditions and writing an essay as an independent creative work.
