Within the framework of cooperation between KhNUIA and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Republic of Poland), Anastasiia Yemelianenko, a cadet of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA, became a participant of the Spring School "Selected Issues in Science for Humanities". Classes with lectures and workshops are conducted by well-known professors who are involved in the implementation of projects related to the interaction of man and society.
With the assistance of the Department of International Cooperation, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine conducted a training on human rights, international standards of police activity, the mandate and activities of the ICRC in Ukraine, the use of force in the paradigm of law enforcement, the search for missing persons and the protection of civilians during armed conflict at one of the locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for the academic staff and applicants for higher education of KhNUIA.
A year ago, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan signed a Declaration of Cooperation. During the visit of the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko to the Polish university in December 2023, an agreement was reached on the participation of higher education students, adjuncts, doctoral students, research and teaching staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in exchange programs and study visits to the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
Employees of the Department of International Cooperation of KhNUIA Tetiana Matiushkova, Natalia Sadova, Svitlana Vechirko and Inna Savina took part in the online conference "E-learning in turbulent times", held by Englishdom. The purpose of the event was to provide recommendations for building effective corporate education with a focus on achieving results important for the development of organizations.
Head of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the Faculty № 6, Professor Olha Hetmanets took part in the training "Studying the European Experience in Implementing Quality Management Systems for Educational Services", which took place within the framework of the international Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project Module "European Experience in Implementing Quality Management Systems for Products and Services" at Lviv Polytechnic.

Representatives of the Department of International Cooperation - Tetiana Matiushkova, Natalia Sadova, Nadiia Sergiienko and Svitlana Vechirko took part in the webinar "Features of psychological support for children who have experienced violence on the Internet." The organizer of the event was the public organization "Incubator of Democratic Initiatives" within the framework of the project "Expanding the capabilities of law enforcement agencies in overcoming violence against children on the Internet."
The new edition of the Council of Europe publication "Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence: A Practical Guide for Police Officers" is published in response to the current challenges of the war in Ukraine, as well as recent important changes in Ukrainian legislation on combating gender-based violence (GBV) against women.
The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3 - lecturers Vladyslav Burkhailo and Viktor Yasko, as well as a lecturer of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science, Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1 Hryhorii Smyrnov have been trained as part of the course: "Training of Trainers in Teaching the Risks Associated with Explosive Objects".
With the assistance of the Department of International Cooperation, at one of the locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in Kamianets-Podilskyi, representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine: Head of the ICRC sub-delegation in Lviv Lilaf Balisani (citizen of the Kingdom of Norway) and ICRC delegate for police and security Halit Bulanikli (citizen of the Republic of Turkey) conducted a training on the topic "Principles of the use of force by law enforcement agencies in accordance with international humanitarian law and international human rights law. Introduction to International Humanitarian Law".
