The final conference of the project "European Regional Partnership for Gender Equality in the Digital Age" (EQUALS-EU) of the Horizon 2020 program took place in Riga (Latvia).

Training course on combating crimes related to firearms

Professor of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Law, Professor, Police Major Vlada Husieva took part in the Firearms Crime training course. An essay contest was held among students, postgraduates and young scientists of higher education institutions of Ukraine on the topic "Neutrality: an obstacle or a catalyst for effective humanitarian activity?". The event was held to help young Ukrainian scholars understand the idea of humanity, as well as the principles of impartiality, neutrality and independence in the activities of humanitarian organizations.

Training on teaching English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

Olena Stativka, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4, and Valentyna Kochyna, Associate Professor of the same department, took part in the online training "Pearson and International Education Resource Line for NUS Classrooms", which addressed the issues of correlation of the requirements of the State Standards of General Secondary Education regarding the levels of students' academic achievements, etc.
