Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kateryna Pavlichenko and Director of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Inna Yashchuk took part in the presentation of the project "Traffic Light of EU Policy: Gender, Rights, Migration and Digitalization" (GeRiMiD) as part of the Erasmus+ program directed by Jean Monet. Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs became the first HEI of the security and defense sector to start teaching studies under the European direction of the Jean Monnet Erasmus+ program.

Valerii Sokurenko, Rector of the university, Police General of the 3-rd rank, noted that within the framework of this program, the European Union encourages the university to start teaching disciplines related to the subject of European integration and the development of scientific activity in the specified field.

The Jean Monnet program is one of the educational programs of the European Union, the purpose of which is to activate the European integration discourse, promote the excellence of European integration studies, involve higher education institutions in researching European integration processes and expand the ideas of a United Europe.
