Representatives of the "Equal Opportunities of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs" team took part in the presentation of the manual "Advisor for Gender Advisors", which was created by the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy Kateryna Levchenko together with the network of advisors on gender issues.

Ministries, other bodies of executive power, Kyiv city and regional military administrations, authorized persons (coordinators) on ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men, and others joined the presentation.

During the event, the importance of the Guide, the contents of its sections and appendices were revealed. Attention on the importance of the state policy on ensuring gender equality was also focused; the factors influencing it and the role of advisers in the implementation process were outlined.

The Guide for Gender Advisors is a valuable resource that provides the necessary knowledge and tools for those working in the field of gender equality to strengthen the components of the institutional mechanism for ensuring equal rights and opportunities for men and women at the sectoral, regional and local levels.
