
Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies, Candidate of Philology Nataliia Kobylko has completed a professional development course at Kyiv Educational Hub. The purpose of the course is to improve her skills in language norms in accordance with the Ukrainian spelling approved in 2019.

A binary lesson on the discipline “Foreign Language for Professional Purposes” for first-year cadets majoring in Law Enforcement was conducted by Daniil Mykhailyk, an inspector of the Juvenile Prevention Sector of Sumy Regional Department of the Main Office of the National Police in Sumy Region, Yulia Samoilova, a professor of the Department of Humanities at Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Hanna Dovhopolova, an associate professor of the same department.

Instructors of the dog training center of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia region demonstrated to the students of the ERI No. 3 the procedure for using service dogs during the detention of an offender, overcoming his active resistance, and familiarized them with the use of dogs in the pursuit of a criminal and the search for drugs.

The management of the ERI №5 organized a regular meeting with applicants for the second (master's) level of higher education in the field of knowledge 08 “Law”, specialty 081 “Law” regarding the Unified State Qualification Examination (USQE) in Law.

Leading specialist of the fire safety group of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Yurii Chukhrii familiarized the cadets with the basic rules of fire safety, reminded the requirements for fire safety in everyday life, and explained the algorithm of actions in case of a fire in the premises.

“Being a donor is one of the most accessible and meaningful ways to help others,” says Ivan Bilokur, a fourth-year student at Sumy branch of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who has repeatedly donated blood and its components to those who need it most. He made another blood donation on his birthday.

This was the topic of a binary lesson in the discipline “Criminal Law” conducted by Bohdan Levchyk, an investigator of Rivne Investigation Department of Rivne Regional Police, and Yulia Inshekova, a senior lecturer at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology at the ERI No. 1.

Olena Moskaliuk, Senior Criminalist Specialist on Special Assignments of the Criminalistics Department of the Main Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine, conducted an online class for third-year cadets of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

The debate on the topic “Death Penalty: For or Against?” on the occasion of the International Day for the Abolition of the Death Penalty was held by Associate Professor Anna Naumova. The presentation “Axioms of writing theses: search for information, rules for using materials, writing conclusions and literature” was prepared by Associate Professor Yaroslav Lantinov.

The second-year students of the ERI No. 1, who are studying in the specialty “Law”, had a lesson with the commander of the demining detachment Andrii Vivcharyk together with the associate professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the ERI No. 4 Oksana Melnychuk. They discussed the topic “War as a Social Phenomenon: Essence and Content”.
