Representatives of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of Faculty № 2, Associate Professor Maryna Petchenko, PhD in Economics, Natalia Bobro, PhD in Economics, and cadets of Faculties № 2 and №3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a webinar on "Minimizing the negative consequences for victims of sexual violence during the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine."

The event was organized by public organizations: "Women's Information and Consultative Center", "Kremenchuk Anti-Corruption Center" with the financial support of OSCE within the framework of the WIN project.

During the webinar, speakers Oksana Huida, head of NGO "Kremenchuk Anti-corruption Center" and Anastasia Nenka, head of NGO "Information and Consultative Women's Center" highlighted following issues:

  • Conceptual apparatus "conflict-related sexual violence" (CRSV);
  • "sexualized violence during military conflict"; advantages and disadvantages of the normative legal framework regarding the regulation of CRSV;
  • forms of conflict-related sexual violence;
  • identification of CRSV;
  • Investigation procedure and centers of responsibility;
  • Codex Murad AND others.

University representatives are going to applicate acquired knowledge and skills during the official duties performance.
