Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the webinar “Democracy, Human Rights and the Pandemic: Impact and Opportunities”. The event was organized by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) and the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (IDEA).

The issues of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on democratic institutions and fundamental human rights and freedoms were considered and the issues of adherence to human rights in the conditions of the pandemic were covered during the panel discussion. The participants were also briefed on the report of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) (https://www.osce.org/odihr/human-rights-states-of-emergency-covid19). The webinar was conducted in English.
