Housing, social insurance and a decent salary - we have to motivate people to serve in the Ministry of Internal Affairs - Arsen Avakov

This was announced on March 2, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said in an interview with journalist Dmytro Hordon.

According to him, 2 years ago the Ministry of Internal Affairs created a motivational package for employees of the National Police and rescuers of the State Emergency Service, thanks to which they can get a mortgage on housing at 0%.

"It has given us a huge advantage over these two years. The few thousand young police officers who are likely to retire because they need to earn money for their families have remained and are developing. And this is such a strong core in which I see the future. If we would slowly increase their salaries, incentive package for housing and provide proper social insurance, which we do not have, it would be an ideal structure for the development of the service. This is what I want, "said the Interior Minister.
