The head of the cadet-student parliament, police officer Oleksandr Babych, met with cadets of 1-4 courses of the Faculty № 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. During the meeting the issues concerning the purpose, goals and tasks of the cadet-student self-government of KhNUIA were discussed.

Lesia Honcharenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, visited Sumy Gymnasium №1 and talked to high school students about the importance of legal knowledge in the modern world, the peculiarities of the work of a notary, prosecutor, judge, lawyer, legal adviser and police officer.

In 2022, the cultural community of Ukraine will celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of the most famous Ukrainian philosopher, poet and educator - Hryhorii Savych Skovoroda (1722-1772). A trip to Skovorodynivka, the place of the last months of Hryhorii Skovoroda's life, was organized for the stuff and representatives of all faculties of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Associate Professor of Social and Economic Disciplines of Faculty № 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksandr Moshenskyi with the participation of a senior software engineer of the Department of Organizational and Analytical Support and Rapid Response of the Main Directorate of National Police in Kharkiv region conducted a binary lesson.

Recently, the scientific library of the university was replenished with the latest book gift - a monograph by Oleksii Salmanov, a lecturer at the Department of Criminal Procedure and Pre-trial Investigation of Faculty №1, namely:Investigative (search) actions that limit the inviolability of home or other property of a person: general characteristics and procedure.

The guarantor of the educational-professional program of the first (bachelor's) level of higher education "Law Enforcement" Iryna Panova held a meeting with the first-year students. During the meeting, students learned about the components of the program and the possibility of choosing disciplines in Package No 1 and Package No 2.

The Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty No. 2 of KhNUIA held an on-site meeting of the scientific group on the topic "Slobozhanshchina in names and dates. Hryhorii Skovoroda" in Skovorodynivka village. The event was supported by the trade union of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Within the framework of the Law Week, Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines Svitlana Vashchenko and Senior Inspector on Special Instructions of the Department of Administrative Practice of the Patrol Police Department in Sumy Region, Police Captain Olha Zapadnia held a binary lesson on the discipline "Administrative and Jurisdictional Activities of the Police" on the topic "Proceedings on administrative offenses in the field of road safety".

On the Day of Defenders and Defendersses of Ukraine  — the national holiday of Ukraine, which is celebrated on October 14, at the same time as the feasts of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Day of the Ukrainian Cossacks, the Scientific Library of the University presents an expanded book and illustrative exposition "Ukraine from Cossack times to the present".

Students of faculty No 6 of KhNUIA with the support of faculty dean, Oksana Brusakova, organized a volunteer visit to the museum-estate ''Ukrainian House'' which is located in village Nyzhnia Ozeriana Kharkiv region.
