From the very first days of the war, Latvia has been an active supporter of Ukraine in its fight against the Russian aggressor. During the war, both civilians and defenders of Ukraine received medicines, clothing, food, vehicles, various types of medical and other equipment from the Latvian people.
In order to improve the quality of the practical component of higher education, Professor of the Department of Labor and Commercial Law of the Faculty № 2 Yevhen Podorozhnyi and Head of the Police Department № 1 of Odesa District Police Department № 2 of the Main Department of the National Police in Odesa Region, Police Captain Oleksandr Sirotov, conducted a binary lesson for cadets of the Faculty № 2 in the discipline "Commercial Law".
The cadets of the Faculty No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs have once again become blood donors. The students of the University continue to provide healthcare facilities with blood and its components needed to save wounded Ukrainian defenders and treat civilians.
Viktoriia Pertseva, Associate Professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty № 2, with the participation of Police Captain, Senior District Police Officer of Lutsk District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Volyn Region Viktor Tomashchuk, conducted a binary lesson in the Ukrainian language for professional purposes with cadets of the Faculty № 2, group 101 on the topic "Peculiarities of communication between police officers and different age groups of citizens".
As part of their military and patriotic education, first-year cadets of the Faculty No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in an event entitled "Discover Ukraine", during which they presented 17 regions of Ukraine and told about the peculiarities of their regions, sights and attractions.
Representatives of the Recruiting and Career Guidance Department of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with the Assistant Rector Viktor Slysh held career guidance meetings with future graduates in the lyceums of Berdychiv, Zhytomyr region.
On the occasion of the 190th anniversary of Marko Vovchok's birth, Nataliia Yelnikova, a senior lecturer at the Department of Ukrainian Studies, gave a lecture entitled "Marko Vovchok: A Success Story" for the curatorial group of 401 at Faculty No. 2. She spoke about the famous Ukrainian writer and translator Maria Vilinska (Marko Vovchok) as an extraordinary and bright woman whose life and work caused controversy among her contemporaries.
In order to conduct career guidance, Tetiana Kalchenko, a senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4, and 2nd year cadets of the same faculty visited Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum № 13 of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council of Khmelnytskyi Oblast.
The TV program "Khmelnytskiy News" aired a story about a meeting of people with disabilities in Khmelnytskyi region, representatives of the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the Regional Service Center of the MIA in Khmelnytskyi region.
