
Leading researcher of the Research laboratory of socio-psychological support and rehabilitation of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI No. 3 Yevhenia HLADKOVA, together with a team of volunteers from the “Palms of Peace” Charitable Foundation, donated special clothing for employees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Together to victory!

An online meeting with graduating students of Kharkiv lyceums and their parents was held at the ERI No. 5. The participants were welcomed by the Director of the Institute, Oksana BRUSAKOVA, who spoke about the features and advantages of studying at the ERI No. 5, etc.

The conference was opened by the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, corresponding member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Police General of the Third Rank Valerii SOKURENKO. He outlined the tasks of Ukrainian law schools during the war and the post-war period, and identified opportunities for cooperation in the field of combating crime.

As part of non-formal (informal) education, cadets of the 1st-3rd years and students of the master's degree program of the ERI No. 1 completed the online course "Honest Police", developed by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) together with the National Police of Ukraine and the Patrol Police Academy.

KhNUIA continues to train students on the safe handling of explosive objects. The next group of cadets of the ERI No. 2 received theoretical knowledge and practiced the necessary practical skills during the binary lesson, which was conducted by employees of the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the ERI No. 2 together with specialists from the "Center for Mine Clearance of Ukraine".

Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5 Oleksandr KUKHARIEV gave lectures for judges of appellate courts on the topics "General provisions on inheritance" and "Inheritance by will and by law."

A seminar on this topic was held at Sumy National Agrarian University, organized by the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (NAQAHE), which was attended by Kateryna NAUMENKO, Deputy Director - Head of the Department of Organization of the Educational Process of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA.

An instructional session was held for cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the purpose of which is to raise awareness among university personnel about the ways and means of distributing narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, their analogues, and to prevent cases of any involvement in their trafficking.

Students of the 2nd-3rd courses of the ERI No. 2 and No. 3, who are studying in the specialties 081 "Law" and 053 "Psychology", are actively mastering their future profession by joining the work of the branch of the Legal Clinic of KhNUIA in the city of Vinnytsia.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA Andrii SIADRYSTYI held another curatorial hour with 2nd year cadets, during which they discussed the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights concerning Ukraine. In particular, the cases “Indyko v. Ukraine”, “Tokar v. Ukraine”, “Mkrtchian and Others v. Ukraine”, etc. were considered.
