The Head of the Department, Doctor of Law, Professor Olena Salmanova, communicating with the members of the group, outlined the prospects for the development of administrative and legal science in modern conditions, emphasized the importance and prospects of research work of higher education students.

The Kettlebell Lifting Association of Ukraine Cup was held in the city of Zbarazh, Ternopil region. Applicants for higher education of the University took part in it and won prizes.

The members of the national sambo team of KhNUIA took part in the Ukrainian Sambo Championship, which was held in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro region. According to the results of the competition, the first place in the combat sambo section was won by the 2nd year cadet of the ERI №3 Sofia Koval in the weight category up to 50 kg.

On September 28, 2024, while on duty, as a result of an enemy attack in Sumy region, a graduate of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Head of the Personnel Sector of Sumy District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Sumy region, Police Colonel Ihor Poladych died.

On the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, higher education applicants got acquainted with the literary project of the Creative Union of Journalists of Kremenchuk region “Through the Gloom of War. Kremenchuk. Year Three”. The event was held with the participation of writers, journalists and co-authors of the publication.

The sporting event was initiated by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, with the assistance of the NGO Run Ukraine, which aims to raise funds for the purchase of inclusive equipment for war veterans and combatants undergoing rehabilitation after injuries.

On September 28, 2024, as a result of an enemy shelling of the village of Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv region, a judge of the Supreme Court in the Criminal Court of Cassation, Doctor of Law, Professor Leonid Loboiko, who devoted his life to combating crime through practical activities and science, died.

The Declaration was signed by Viktor Vasylenko, First Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Dimitras Khomenko, Director of the State Police College of Latvia. This agreement aims to promote cooperation in the following forms: mutual study visits of representatives of the academic staff and students to exchange experience, exchange of scientific information, the latest teaching materials and articles for publication in scientific journals.

An exciting and informative game “Pride of the Nation” aimed at popularizing national heroes, historical events and modern achievements of Ukraine was held among the higher education students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA on the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. Interesting contests and intellectual questions for the participants were prepared by the student parliament.

On the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes №№ 1-4 competed in various sports: gymnastic and power complex, complex relay race “Police Quest”, tug of war.
