The ability to move freely is extremely important for every person, even in peacetime, and in wartime, it becomes critical. This applies to both healthy and able-bodied people, and elderly people, and, especially, people with disabilities. On the initiative of the rector of the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valery Sokurenko, bicycles, medical scooters with an electric motor, wheelchairs and walkers, were transferred to university employees and their families.
Nataliia Zadorozhna, Participant of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, 2nd-year cadet of the Faculty No. 1, passed an online course on the Prometheus platform "Communication about national communities for the police press services and prosecutor's office".
Curators of student groups - Associate Professors of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the Faculty No. 6 Viktoriia Fursa, Daria Korobtsova and others conducted briefings on safe handling of explosive objects with the students.
University cadets devote their free time to interesting trips, excursions, playing sports, and attending lectures and art-educational events. A volleyball competition between the teams of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3 was held last weekend; students of the 2-4 courses of the Faculty No. 3 watched the documentary film "Who Are We? Psychoanalysis of Ukrainians".
The Department of Social and Humanitarian work organized the lecture "Professional ethics of a police officer through the prism of spiritual and cultural values and requirements of the educational process" for cadets of 3-4 courses of Faculties No. 2 and No. 3. Ivan Krytsak, Senior Researcher of the Research Laboratory on the Issues of Pre-Trial Investigation, held the lecture.
Cadets of the Faculties No. 1–4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs celebrated the International Chess Day with a chess tournament. The event was held on the initiative of the cadet and student self-government. The event was dedicated to the International Chess Day.
Strengthening the practical component of educational classes, a binary class on the discipline "Criminal Process" was held for cadets of group 302 of the Faculty No. 1. It was conducted by Tetiana Fomina, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation, Faculty No. 1, and an investigator of the special police of Kamianets-Podilskyi RPD of the MDNP in Khmelnytskyi Region.
The cadets of the Faculty No. 1 and No. 4, led by representatives of the Department of Tactical Special and Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, joined the charity event - a run in support of the Association of Families of "Azovstal'' Defenders.
Cadets of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a checkers tournament with representatives of PC "Saturn" from Kamianets-Podilskyi.
Cadets of the Faculty No. 3, with the assistance of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, visited the horse-breeding center in the village of Sutysky in Vinnytsia region. The boys and girls were given an excursion, were introduced to the basic skills of caring for animals, and under the guidance of experienced specialists of the equestrian center, they learned a set of riding exercises - sitting on a horse and directly riding.
