
Introductory practice in the practical units of the National Police in the regions has begun for the first-year cadets of the faculties №№ 1-4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The purpose of the internship is to consolidate the theoretical knowledge gained during the training sessions and to acquire practical skills that meet the qualification requirements for their future profession.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a pilot project of a new course on cyber hygiene developed by the OSCE Support Program for Future Law Enforcement and Rescue Officers of Ukraine, which took place in Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi region.

Higher education students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the training "Fundamentals of Investigating Cybercrime, including Human Trafficking", organized by the OSCE for the Cyber Police Department and the Migration Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine.

In order to improve the level of professional skills, Iryna Kazanchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure of the Faculty No. 1, took part in a series of specialized webinars on the following topics: "Criteria and Procedure for Selecting Materials for the Web of Science Core Collection", "Journal Citation Reports - 2023" from the series "Clarivate for Scientists" by Clarivate.

Larysa Sazanova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, took part in the International Online Training "A New Look at Teaching Grammar with the Grammar in Focus A2+ Series" organized by the International Education Center Dinternal Education.

Tetiana Fomina, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1, and cadets of Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 Volodymyr Herasymenko and Natalia Protskova took part in the educational and scientific intensive "500 Days of Resistance to Ukraine through the Eyes of Law Enforcement and Human Rights Defenders" organized by the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a race "Run for Victory" in support of the Defenders of Ukraine and to express gratitude for their dedicated service to the Motherland. The race was attended by vice-rectors, deans of faculties, academic staff, officers, cadets, students and master's students at all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, as well as separate structural subdivisions of Sumy branch and Kremenchuk Flight College.

Oleksii Serdiuk, Head of the Research Laboratory for Psychological Support of Law Enforcement of KhNUIA, Lieutenant Colonel of Police, published an article in German "Ein Brief aus Charkiw: Ein ukrainisches Wissenschaftszentrum in Kriegszeiten" (Letter from Kharkiv: Ukrainian Research Center in Wartime) in the Ukraine-Analysen magazine No. 286 (27.06.2023).

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs constantly cooperates with the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are actively involved in the military-patriotic and national-patriotic education of young people. This is the case with the commander of the company of strike unmanned aerial systems "Birds of Madiars" of the 59th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign "Madiar".
