
Oksana Bortnik, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil, Labour and Commercial Law of the ERI №1 of KhNUIA, met with the high school students. She spoke about the benefits of studying at the university and introduced students to opportunities for professional growth in the field of law.

Vitalii Kavkalo, Head of the Human Rights Sector of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, and Yevhenii Zozulia, a lecturer at the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science, conducted a class on Criminalistics for the students of the ERI No. 1.

In March 2025, the University of Tokyo will hold an International Conference on Human Rights in a mixed format. All those wishing to participate in it should submit abstracts in the following areas by 30 November 2024: gender equality, censorship and the right to expression, climate change and humanitarian action, business and human rights.

Last year, the Department of Language Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs launched the project ‘A Way to Europe’ for in-depth study of English by higher education students. The project is focused on learning English using an innovative method of blended learning.

For the first-year cadets of the ERI No. 1, the class was conducted by Oleksandr Barbaniuk, investigator of the Investigation Department for solving crimes committed against life and health of a person, the Investigation Department of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police in Khmelnytskyi region, and Nataliia Yelnikova, senior lecturer of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies.

Kateryna Penzieva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science, presented the results of the study to the graduates of Kamianets-Podilskyi Lyceum No. 14 of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council of Khmelnytskyi Region.

The curator, Professor of the Department of Civil, Labour and Commercial Law, Doctor of Law, Professor Sviatoslav Slipchenko held an educational hour with the cadets of the ERI №1 on the role of science in training for the National Police.

The topic ‘The Role of the National Police in Ensuring Constitutional Rights and Freedoms of Ukrainian Citizens’ was discussed with the cadets of the ERI No. 1 by Vitalii Kavkalo, Head of the Human Rights Sector of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, and Oleksandr Radchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights of KhNUIA.

Curator, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organisation of Pre-trial Investigation Alina Piddubna held a meeting and conversation with the cadets of the ERI №1 on the topic ‘Observance of discipline and legality among the personnel. Transport discipline’. She focused the cadets' attention on the need for a responsible attitude to their duties.

The academic staff of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organisation of Pre-trial Investigation of the ERI №1 Iryna Nechaieva, Kateryna Horbunova, Olena Martovytska, Hennadii Hlobenko, Alina Piddubna and Inna Strok held curatorial hours with the cadets of the study groups of the ERI No. 1, dedicated to the World Science Day for Peace and Development.
