Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs invited the youth of Khmelnytskyi region to the Open Door Day. Almost 300 graduating students, their parents, teachers and friends came to the City House of Culture to learn more about the institution of higher education and talk with its representatives.
As part of teaching the special course "Actions of investigative teams of the National Police of Ukraine on the documentation of war crimes on the de-occupied territories" for students of higher education of the Faculty No. 3, Professor of the Department of Criminology, Forensic Expertise and Pre-Medical Training of the Faculty No. 1 Oleksandr Yuhno conducted a practical session on the topic "Preparation and appointment of forensic experts during the investigation of war crimes on the de-occupied territories".
As part of the annual World Action "16 Days Against Violence", a thematic meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1 was held. The participants of the meeting raised a number of scientific and applied problems related to criminal law and criminological means of combating domestic and gender-based violence in Ukraine.
The "Sherlock's Trainees" team of the Faculty No. 1 presented Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs at the All-Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Moot Court. Among the 107 registered teams, 82 teams responded to the situational case from NABU and NAZK. "Sherlock's Trainees" entered the top ten and took 2nd place.
Acting Dean of the Faculty No. 4 Mykola Marchuk, Deputy Dean of the Faculty No. 4 Yurii Onyshchenko and Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law Andrii Voitsikhovskyi held a meeting with cadets of Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 on the occasion of the International Day of Combating Violence Against Women.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted the 1st stage of the 23rd International Competition of Experts of Ukrainian Language named after Petro Yatsyk, which has already become traditional. Its purpose is to establish the state status of the Ukrainian language, raise its prestige among young people, foster respect for the culture and traditions of the Ukrainian people, improve language education in Ukraine, identify creatively gifted youth, and develop their potential.
Participants of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, cadets of the Faculty No. 1 took part in a series of master classes on clay modeling. On the first day, the cadets learned to make products using various techniques, to decorate them artistically, to sculpt decorative figures, and each participant had the opportunity to create his own author's magnet and paint it.

Dear colleagues, cadets, students, master's and adjunct students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs! Today we have a big holiday - on November 22, we celebrate the 28th anniversary of the founding of our native Alma Mater! Together with you, we chose the path of development and construction of our university and we will not stop in this process even for a moment. Even in the face of the forced relocation of our higher education institution due to the war in the country, we continue our educational and scientific activities, strengthen the material and technical base, set new goals and tasks, plan our future.
Representatives of the Department of Criminology, Forensic Expertise and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs constantly visit educational institutions of the country to conduct career orientation events. Recently, the lecturer of the department, Yevhenii Zozulia, visited the communal institution of Bezliudivska settlement council of Kharkiv region "Bezliudivskyi Lyceum", where he held an online meeting with future graduates.
