
With the assistance of the charitable partner project "For Children of War" of the Charitable Foundation "SOS Civil Defense Staff", representatives of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs met with students from Kharkiv and Donetsk regions who arrived for rehabilitation and psychological rehabilitation in Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi region.

For the 1st year cadets of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a binary lesson on first aid was conducted by Lieutenant Iryna Shcherbinina, Head of the Support and Psychological Recovery Group of one of the mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Tetiana Orlova, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1.

The meeting discussed a number of topical issues of criminal law policy in times of war, as well as criminological principles of transitional justice in Ukraine. The Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Yurii Orlov familiarized the cadets with the basic provisions of the concept of transitional justice, which provides for the simultaneous activities of the state and civil society institutions in four areas.

Kateryna Penzieva, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1, held an online career guidance meeting with high school students of general secondary education institutions of the territorial communities of Varaskyi district of Rivne region.

The lecturers of the event were Olena Pikhurets, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of the Faculty № 4, who spoke on "Intellectual Property Rights in Scientific and Pedagogical Activities" and Yana Mazur, Anti-Corruption Commissioner of KhNUIA, who spoke on "Basic Requirements of Anti-Corruption Legislation".

The university held a tournament in the e-sports discipline "Counter-Strike 2" on the "FACEIT" platform, in which 10 teams of Faculties №№ 1-4, 6 and Sumy branch competed. The tournament was held with the support of the Ukrainian Esports Federation (UESF), which controlled the organization and refereeing of the tournament.

During the morning formation, the Dean of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA Vitalii Romaniuk congratulated and presented awards to the winners of Khmelnytskyi Open Hand-to-Hand Fighting Championship in honor of the memory of athletes who gave their lives to protect Ukraine and Khmelnytskyi Open Kickboxing Championship of Khmelnytskyi Region.

An informational and educational hour "Proper Nutrition is a Guarantee of Health" was held for university cadets with the participation of Liudmyla Koliianovska, a food technology specialist at Vinnytsia National Agrarian University, and Tetiana Ocheretenko, director of the Children's Medical Center Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council, a doctor of the highest category.

A regular optional lesson of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the topic "Topical issues of tactical and special training under martial law" was held.

Representatives of KhNUIA, with the assistance of Eduard Verbytskyi, Senior Inspector of Juvenile Prevention of the Community Relations Sector of the Police Department No. 1 of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, met with high school students of Slobidsko-Kulchiievetska community of Kamianets-Podilskyi District of Khmelnytskyi Region.
