
With the assistance of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a meeting was organized for cadets of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 with the author of the book “Shchedryk against the Russian world. Symon Petliura's cultural diplomacy: the mission of Oleksandr Koshyts Chapel” by Tina Peresunko.

Cadets of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs regularly join open groups that make camouflage nets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. One of the most effective and necessary means of disguising manpower and equipment will be handed over to the military of the 127th Territorial Defense Brigade of Kharkiv.

Sports lifestyle contributes to the professional preparation of cadets for service activity in internal affairs authorities. Competitions and participation in sports events help law enforcement officers to develop professional qualities. During the educational program of the scientific group "SHCHYT", cadets of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs ran through the historical places of Kamianets-Podilskyi.

Third-year cadets of the Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs became participants of the testing conducted by the head of the Center for Psychiatric Care and Psychophysiological Selection of the State Institution "Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine of Khmelnytskyi Region", psychiatrist and narcologist Andrii Oliper.

Cadets of the Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are engaged in a modern pop studio "New Millennium" of the City House of Culture, which operates under the leadership of the Honorary Citizen of Kamianets-Podilskyi Petro Sytnyk.

With the assistance of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, applicants for higher education of the Faculty № 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, visited the concert of organ music performed by the Polish organist – Victor Lyiak.

Cadets of Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the screening of Ukrainian and international short films about the Ukrainian-Russian war 2022: "Not childish games", "War that is always nearby", "War in Ukraine, through the eyes of refugees", " Border", "Peace and tranquility".

For the prevention of post-traumatic stress disorder and other psychological consequences of traumatic events and situations arising from Russian aggression, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work and the Department of Psychological Support of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs organized yoga and hydrotherapy classes for the cadets of the Faculty No. 1.

Graduates of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are actively involved in volunteer activity. On a regular basis, they participate in weaving camouflage nets for Ukrainian soldiers, provide assistance in unloading, sorting, packing and issuing humanitarian aid (food and other basic necessities) to internally displaced persons, elderly people and everyone who needs help.

On the initiative of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, during the historical and cognitive, cultural and educational hour for students of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, tours of the painting exhibition "Hetmans - State Builders of Ukraine" began.
