On the occasion of the Ukrainian Statehood Day, cadets of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in putting flowers at the monument to Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko in the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi.

On the occasion of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, solemn events were held in all cities where the divisions of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are located. The Rector of the higher education institution, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine, Police General of the Third Rank, Valerii Sokurenko, congratulated the staff of the university on the holiday, which represents the connection of all generations of Ukrainians.

On the eve of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, the staff of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs organized a book and illustration exhibition on the topic "Kamianets-Podilskyi - Cathedral Capital of Ukraine" for students of higher education of Faculties No. 1 and No. 4.

Participant of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, 3rd year cadet of the Faculty No. 1, Krystyna Koval, successfully completed online courses "Studying international humanitarian law" and "First aid in wartime" on the Prometheus educational platform.

Nataliia Zadorozhna, Participant of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, 2nd-year cadet of the Faculty No. 1, passed an online course on the Prometheus platform "Communication about national communities for the police press services and prosecutor's office".

Cadets of the Faculties No. 1–4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs celebrated the International Chess Day with a chess tournament. The event was held on the initiative of the cadet and student self-government. The event was dedicated to the International Chess Day.

Strengthening the practical component of educational classes, a binary class on the discipline "Criminal Process" was held for cadets of group 302 of the Faculty No. 1. It was conducted by Tetiana Fomina, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation, Faculty No. 1, and an investigator of the special police of Kamianets-Podilskyi RPD of the MDNP in Khmelnytskyi Region.

The cadets of the Faculty No. 1 and No. 4, led by representatives of the Department of Tactical Special and Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, joined the charity event - a run in support of the Association of Families of "Azovstal'' Defenders.

Cadets of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a checkers tournament with representatives of PC "Saturn" from Kamianets-Podilskyi.

Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Process of the Faculty No. 1 Iryna Kazanchuk took part in the educational seminar "Academic integrity: requirements and recommendations for preventing violations", which was held online using the Zoom platform.
