
The Library of the University presents its community the latest scientific and methodological publications for 2020, developed by the staff of the Research Laboratory on the Issues of Information Technologies Development under the guidance of Vadym Korshenko, the Department of Information Processing Technology and Cybersecurity under the guidance of Yurii Hnusov(Faculty No.4) and the Department of Criminal Procedure and Pre-Trial Investigation under the guidance of Oleksandr Yukhno (Faculty No.1).

Vitalii Naida, Master's student of the Faculty № 1 and Nataliia Rastorhuieva, 4th year cadet of the Faculty № 1, gave a series of trainings at Kharkiv Lyceum with extensive military and physical training "Pravookhoronets' of Kharkiv Regional Council within the framework of the #THOSEWHOCOULD project.

Nataliia Tsvirkun, a Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No.1 visited Kharkiv gymnasium No.1 in order to conduct vocational guidance activities. She conducted a vocational guidance conversation with Anna Popova, the Deputy Director for Educational Work.

The Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organized an instructional lesson on the observance of traffic rules and road safety for cadets of 3-4 years and adjuncts of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Nataliia Yelnikova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty No. 2, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Alina Masalova, Inspector of the Investigation Sector of Kyiv Police Department of the Headquarters of the National Police in Kharkiv Region, conducted a binary lesson on “Linguistic Features of Official Business Style” for cadets of the Faculty No. 1 (group 101).

Cadets of faculty № 1 take an active part in career guidance activities. Fourth year cadets Oleksandr Maryniak, Oleksandra Samoilova, Viktoriia Miasniankina, Volodymyr Pohrebniak, Yuliia Vorobiova, Kateryna Oleksiuk, Inna Vodianytska, Kateryna Borodenko, Yana Mirkevych visited a number of secondary schools in different regions of Ukraine and held professional meetings in compliance with quarantine requirements.

1st-year cadet of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Vladyslava Balera, who is a member of the School of Scientific Leadership of the Faculty No. 1, took 3rd place in the Marathon of Change Agents of the Media Literacy School.

The second year cadets of Faculty № 1 Yuliia Patsora, Mykyta Belevtsov and Krystina Morhai, who are members of the School of Scientific Leadership, took part in the program of personality and professional development "State Creator" in the Kharkiv region. During the three-week program, the cadets together with the participants from other higher education institutions remotely attended classes given by leading figures of the state and public sectors of the Kharkiv region.

The Department of Foreign Languages of Faculty №1 held a debate in English "STOP Bullying!", that was organized by the Department of International Cooperation of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with the support of the European Union Advisory Mission Field Office in Kharkiv.

The scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-Medical Training of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs conducted vocational guidance activities in the established educational institutions of Kharkiv City and Krasnohrad District of Kharkiv Region.
