Oleksii Serdiuk, Head of the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support, Assistance and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the ERI №3, made a presentation on ‘European experience of police cooperation with the public’ and took part in the discussion platform ‘Organisation of cooperation between the National Police and public formations for the protection of public order and the state border under martial law’.
On the occasion of the EU Foundation Day, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organised the participation of higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 2 and No. 3 in the event ‘Core Values of the European Union’.
On the eve of the Day of Social Worker, First Vice-Rector Viktor Vasylenko and Vice-Rector Oleksandr Muzychuk, the management of the ERI No. 1-5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs met with students who are most in need of parental support and care.
This was the title of the roundtable discussion organised by the academic staff of the Department of Administrative Law and Process of the ERI No. 3 of KhNUIA. The event was opened by the Vice-Rector of KhNUIA, Honoured Lawyer of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Police Colonel Oleksandr Muzychuk, who stressed that in the light of recent legislative initiatives, the topic of development of administrative and tort law of Ukraine remains extremely relevant.
On the eve of the Foundation Day of the European Union, which is celebrated annually in the EU member states on 1 November, curators of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held informational and educational talks for higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-4.
For the students of the ERI No. 3, the class on the discipline ‘Organisational and Legal Principles of Preventing and Combating Corruption’ was conducted by Vasyl Semen, Head of the Prevention Department of Yavoriv District Police Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Lviv Oblast, together with Olena Dzhafarova, Head of the Department of Administrative Activities.
University vice-rector Serhii Bortnyk met with the junior commanders of the university's cadet units. He emphasized compliance with the law, official discipline, flawless fulfillment of the requirements of the Oath of a police officer, statutes, orders, norms of professional and official ethics.
Within the framework of the UN Development Program in Ukraine, an educational training was organized for cadets on the topic "Protection of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of people with disabilities in police activities and the ethics of communication with them", which was conducted by Natalia Filipska, a senior lecturer at the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights .
Yevheniia Hladkova, a leading researcher at the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Educational and Research Institute №3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with a team of volunteers from the Palms of Peace Charitable Foundation, delivered food and hygiene kits to residents of the Saltovsky district of Kharkiv as part of the 50+ project, as well as assistance to elderly women.
Viacheslav Bilous, Inspector of the Public Relations Department of the Patrol Police Office in Vinnytsia Region, met with the cadets of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 2 and No. 3. He acquainted the personnel with the provisions of the Traffic Rules concerning road safety, responsibilities of drivers, passengers and pedestrians.
