On the eve of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in the status of a university for higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-4, curators of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held thematic informational and educational talks.
The cadets, students, master's students and staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs watched the documentary film 1000 Days of Freedom, presented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on the occasion of the thousandth day of the full-scale war and the fight against Russian armed aggression.
The cadets of the ERI No. 1 together with the curator, Professor of the Department of Criminalistics and Forensic Science Ihor Zozulia put flowers at the memorial to the fallen in the Russian-Ukrainian war, which has been going on for 1000 days. With a minute of silence, the cadets honoured the memory of the defenders who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine.
The second-year students of the ERI №3 continue to participate in volunteer activities. This time they joined the unloading of food and medicines at the military rehabilitation centre, where defenders of Ukraine are undergoing treatment and rehabilitation.
In a safe room at one of Kharkiv's universities, the training was organised by Evheniia Hladkova, a leading researcher at the Research Laboratory for Social and Psychological Support and Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Educational and Research Institute No. 3, together with a team of volunteers from the Palm of Peace Charitable Foundation.
The 2nd year cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continue to support the families of servicemen who are defending our country from the Russian aggressor. This time, they helped the family of a defender to organise the yard and prepare firewood for the winter.
A conversation on the topic ‘1000 days of invincibility of the Ukrainian people. The heroism of the military and law enforcement officers who defend Ukraine’ with the second-year cadets of the ERI №3 was held by the curator, associate professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure Iryna Kazanchuk.
For higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes Nos. 1-4, the curators of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held thematic information and educational talks on combating drug and other addictions. They told the cadets about the impact of drugs on human development and the emergence of drug addiction.
At the invitation of the Department of Humanitarian Policy of Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, cadets of the ERI №2 and №3 took part in a project organised within the framework of the communication campaign ‘How are you? Resilience’ communication campaign of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Programme initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska.
Nataliia Miloradova, Professor of the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Pedagogy, and Yana Komar, Senior Psychologist of the Criminal Protection Sector of Poltava Regional Department of the National Police in Poltava Oblast, together with the 4th year students of the ERI No. 3, discussed the peculiarities of extreme and crisis situations that a psychologist deals with.
