
The priority tasks of training qualified specialists at the ERI No. 4 are the comprehensive development of cadets, the disclosure of their personal qualities, their involvement in scientific and research activities in compliance with the principles of academic integrity, and the increase of scientific potential through the implementation of non-formal (informal) education.

Students of the ERI No. 1, 4, 5 watched the short film "When the Dead Sing...", which highlights the events of the OUN and UPA in the 1950s in Khmelnytskyi region. After watching, cadets and students talked with the author of the film - screenwriter and director Vasyl HORBATIUK, who shared the history of the film's creation and explained why this particular topic was chosen.

Senior operational officer of the criminal police sector of Yavoriv DPD of the Main Police Department in Lviv region Roman KURILETS shared his professional experience with first-year cadets of the ERI No. 4 during a binary lesson on the discipline "Fundamentals of Legal Knowledge: Criminal Law."

On the eve of the celebration of the 211th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko, the curators of educational work of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held informational and educational talks "Everyone has their own destiny and their own wide path" for higher education students of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-5.

In the conditions of a modern information society, choosing a future profession is one of the most important stages in the life of every young citizen. It is with the aim of providing up-to-date information about the prospects of education and career growth in the field of law enforcement that an online career guidance event was organized for high school students of educational institutions of Cherkasy region.

The meeting was attended by the Directors of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1 and No. 4, Vitalii ROMANIUK and Mykola MARCHUK. The First Vice-Rector talked with the graduating cadets about the defense of internship materials, passing exams and further performance of official duties at the place of service.

In order to raise awareness among higher education applicants of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, cadets, as part of non-formal (informal) education, underwent training on the topics: "Declare!", "Honorable Police", "It's Clear About Conflict of Interest."

1st-year cadets of the ERI No. 3 Yevhenii NOVIKOV, Olha DOVHAN, Daria SALNICHENKO, Pavlo VYHOVSKYI and 2nd-year cadet of the ERI No. 4 Yevhenii TSISAR remotely participated in the brain-ring on the theory of state and law.

An online meeting with graduating students of schools in Kharkiv region and their parents was held by the Leading researcher of the Research laboratory on problems of information technologies and combating crime in cyberspace of the ERI No. 4, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Yevhen HRINCHENKO.

The event, which took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, was organized within the framework of the flagship partnership of the EU and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine “EU4RECOVERY – Empowering Communities in Ukraine”.
