
From October 2024 to March 2025, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, in cooperation with partners - the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Binance and Brama - is holding the All-Ukrainian competition “CYBER SECURITY CAMP” for applicants for higher education in Ukraine.

In a difficult time for the country, young people understand the challenges and choose the police profession. Energetic, intelligent and motivated young men and women have entered Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. This is their first step towards protecting their people and the state.

A binary lesson was held with the second-year cadets of the ERI №4, who are studying in the specialty “Law Enforcement”, by the community police officer of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region Oleh Horbaniuk and Professor of the Department of Administrative Activity, Doctor of Law, Professor Vitalii Pchelin.

The head of the scientific club, Associate Professor of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Valentyna Kochyna held the first meeting of the scientific club for higher education students of the ERI №№ 1-5. She emphasized the importance of research work of cadets and students, participation in scientific conferences, seminars, forums, etc.

National-patriotic informational and educational talks on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine were held by curators of the educational work of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of KhNUIA. They talked with the cadets of the ERI №№ 1-4 about the history of the holiday, about modern heroes - courageous, devoted defenders of the territorial integrity of our country, true patriots.

The exhibition was organized by the General Library staff Zhanna Lazorenko and Olena Sovinska. It has already been visited by third-year students of the ERI No. 4 under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Language Training - Professor, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Oleh Honcharuk and senior lecturers Tetiana Kalchenko and Larysa Sazanova.

The training course, conducted by representatives of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, covered topics including: principles of first aid; restorative position; cardiopulmonary resuscitation; elimination of airway obstruction; bleeding control; wound care; assistance in case of injury, burns and frostbite.

Anna Kudria, investigator of the Police Investigation Department No. 1 (Trostianets) of Okhtyrka District Police Department of the National Police in Sumy Oblast, together with Oleh Honcharuk, professor of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA, and Tetiana Kalchenko, senior lecturer of the same department, conducted a binary class for third-year cadets of the ERI No. 4 on the topic “Police Organization”.

Under this slogan, students of KhNUIA took part in a charity race dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, organized in support of wounded soldiers. They covered a distance of 2 km and won prizes: 1st year cadet of the ERI №1 Anastasiia Shtanko won a gold medal, 2nd year cadet of the ERI №4 Oleksandr Marynkevych won a bronze medal. Among the representatives of the ERI No. 5, the best result was shown by the 1st year student Andrii Korobkin.

The gold medals in the Open Cup of Khmelnytskyi region were won by the master's students of the ERI №1 Yehor Skurikhin and Alina Lomova. The winners of the competition were also cadets of the ERI №1 and ERI №4: I place - Vladyslava Pashchenko, Roman Lukianov, Nazar Los; II place - Mykola Rosokha, Denys Voievoda, Roman Savchuk; III place - Nikita Sorokin, Valerii Horpenko, Vitalii Donchenko.
