
Lecturers of the Department of Sociology and Psychology underwent training in the Global Course on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) for Ukrainian frontline specialists working with children. The course was developed in 2024 by the Margaret K. Raian Global Health Program of Boston Children's Hospital.

During the celebrations for the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, employees and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs were awarded.

On this topic, the student active of the ERI No. 5 successfully completed a course developed by leading lawyers of Ukraine. Within the framework of eight modules, participants gained knowledge about the best practices of pre-trial investigation, got acquainted with the advice of expert practitioners and consolidated the material with the help of tests.

The student active of the ERI No. 5 joined the meeting of the youth of the city of Kharkiv with the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, held on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. These are people who, before the start of the full-scale invasion, lived a peaceful life, worked in various fields, but at the most difficult moment joined the ranks of the defenders.

The Student Council of the ERI No. 5 held a patriotic quiz game “Ukraine is my home”, dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. Participants answered questions on the history, culture, traditions and modernity of our state. The game took place in a friendly, but at the same time competitive atmosphere.

Employees of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security – Head Olha HETMANETS and Senior Lecturer Anna SUSHKOVA – completed the course “The Women, Peace, Security Agenda”. The course was developed by the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF).

The event was held with the participation of representatives of the department - the Head, Doctor of Law, Professor Mykhailo SHCHERBAKOVSKYI and Associate Professors of the same department, Candidates of Law, Associate Professors Viktoriia VINTSUK and Olena SOLOVIOVA.

Tetiana KYRYCHENKO, professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5, held an online conversation with high school students of Kharkiv Lyceum No. 138 on the topic “Legal mechanisms for combating bullying and the responsibility of perpetrators.”

The Student Council of the ERI No. 5 held an event attended by representatives of the general library of KhNUIA, students of the institute and students of lyceums. The participants were presented with materials about the importance of books and libraries in modern society, as well as the role of libraries in the development of education and culture.

Higher education students and scientific and pedagogical workers of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 took part in an online meeting on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. On the day of honoring the heroes who defend against the enemy, those present recalled the exploits of servicemen, military doctors, and volunteers.
