Curators of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5 held curatorial hours with students on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in the Second World War of 1939–1945. During the events, participants got acquainted with the historical facts of the Second World War and viewed documentary materials.

As part of the study of the discipline "Legal Psychology" on the topic "Legal Culture of the Personality", senior lecturer of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 Dmytro BONDZYK conducted a practical lesson with 2nd year students of the specialty 081 "Law".

Representatives of the department - lecturers, Associate Professors Olena MOKHORIEVA and Lilia BONDARENKO, senior teachers Ihor SHELKOSHEIEV and Larysa SOLOKHINA organized and held a series of meetings with high school students of Kharkiv City Council lyceums Nos. 58, 91, 103.

On the initiative of the Department of Scientific Activities of the Student Council of the ERI No. 5, senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Yulia MYTROFANOVA held a meeting with the institute's higher education students to familiarize themselves with the activities of the department's scientific circle.

In order to honor the memory of war veterans and foster courage, a sense of patriotism, love for the Motherland, for the history of one's people, and respect for veterans of World War II, Anna NAUMOVA, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, held an educational meeting with students of the ERI No. 5.

Cadets, students, master's students and employees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in all cities where the higher education institution is located laid flowers at memorials and monuments on the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World War II.

As part of the study of the discipline "Psychology of Deviant Behavior" for psychology students of the ERI No. 5, an online lesson was held dedicated to the peculiarities of personality functioning in extreme conditions of combat operations. In particular, the participants considered the problem of deviant behavior of military personnel.

Curators of educational work of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held informational and educational conversations with higher education students of the ERI No. 1–5, dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World War II.

Representatives of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation of the ERI No. 1, Tetiana FOMINA and Alina PIDDUBNA, as well as the Department of Criminal Process, Criminology and Expertise of the ERI No. 5, Oleksandra KOCHURA, received certificates of advanced training of scientific and pedagogical workers.

The victory in the competition was won by the “Lex Nova” team, whose participants received diplomas and gifts. A special award in the “Best Speaker” nomination was won by Veronika ZHOLTIKOVA. Certificates were also awarded to participants who showed activity during the debates.
