The VI All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Social and Psychological Support of the Activities of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine" was held at the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine, co-organized by the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA

For first-year students, the lesson was conducted by Natalia FILIPSKA, senior lecturer at the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights, and lawyer Oleksandr KUCHERIAVYI. The topics of discussion were the principles of the functioning of the judiciary, the principles of justice, and the role of the defense in the trial.

Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminology and Expertise Valerii PCHOLKIN and Chief Researcher of the Research Laboratory on the Problems of Legal Support of Police Activities and Combating Crime Olena FEDOSOVA took part in the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference "European Congress of Scientific Inventions".

The defense of industrial practice materials by 3rd year students of the Law Enforcement specialty has been completed. The commission includes scientific and pedagogical workers of the Law Enforcement Department: Head Iryna PANOVA, Associate Professors Valerii HOVOROV and Volodymyr STRELIANYI.

Deputy Director of the ERI No. 5 Ella TVERDOKHLIB and Head of the Department of Sociology and Psychology Olena YEVDOKIMOVA met with employees of the penitentiary service. Ella TVERDOKHLIB introduced the participants of the meeting to the opportunities for obtaining the first bachelor's and second master's levels of education at KhNUIA.

The Head of the student council of the ERI No. 5, Yana Horskina, took part in the School of Student Self-Government Bodies, organized by the Ukrainian Student League. The event united proactive youth from all over Ukraine who are actively involved in the development of self-government in their educational institutions.

With the participation of higher education students majoring in Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market and Law, as well as representatives of the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security.

2nd and 3rd year students of the ERI No. 5, studying in the specialty "Law", once again visited Kharkiv Administrative Court of Appeal, where a practicum on the topic of current problems of administrative justice was held. The event was organized in the format of a meeting of a scientific circle at the Scientific and Practical Center of Administrative Justice.

As part of practice-oriented training for 2nd year students of the Law specialty, a binary lesson was held in the courtroom of Kamianets-Podilskyi City District Court. The event was conducted by Judge Yurii MANTULIAK and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the ERI No. 5 Yulia MYTROFANOVA.

As part of Open Government Week, Associate Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement at the ERI No. 5, Darya HLUSHKOVA, took part in an all-Ukrainian online lecture on the topic "Guardians of Integrity: How the Anti-Corruption System Works in Ukraine."
