The annual scientific event brought together leading Ukrainian and foreign specialists in the fields of law, psychology, sociology, and pedagogy. The conference was organized by the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 of the university under the direct supervision of the Head of the Department, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Olena YEVDOKIMOVA.

On this topic, Professor of the Department of Law Enforcement of the ERI No. 5 Mykola HOLUB took part in the work of the 1st International Scientific and Theoretical Conference, which was held in Florence (Italian Republic).

As part of a charitable initiative, higher education students of the ERI No. 5 visited the transfusion department in the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi and replenished the blood bank. For the students, it was an opportunity to provide real help to defenders in need.

On the 39th anniversary of the accident at Chornobyl nuclear power plant, cadets, students and employees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs at all locations of the higher education institution honored the memory of the victims of the largest nuclear disaster, which took the lives of thousands of people and caused irreparable damage to the environment.

The Department of Law Enforcement of the ERI No. 5 held another meeting of the scientific circle dedicated to the current topic - the functioning of united territorial communities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The event was timed to coincide with the International Day of Remembrance for Chornobyl Disaster.

Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure of the ERI No. 5 Olha MOROZ held an online meeting with high school students of Kharkiv Lyceum No. 97. She introduced the students to the features of the admission campaign to Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Employees of the ERI No. 5 – Deputy Director for Educational and Research Activities Serhii ZAHORODNII, Deputy Director Ella TVERDOKHLIB and representatives of the Department of Cybersecurity and DATA Technologies held a career orientation meeting with the youth of the cities of Poltava and Cherkasy.

A meeting was organized for students of the ERI No. 5 with the deputy commander of the special forces sniper detachment of the 12th special forces brigade "Azov" David KASATKIN, call sign "Khimik". The soldier spoke about the defense of Mariupol, about the daily challenges that the Ukrainian defenders overcame.

2nd and 3rd year students of the ERI No. 5, studying in the specialty "Law", together with the professor of the Department of Law Enforcement Mykola HOLUB, visited Kharkiv Administrative Court of Appeal in order to familiarize students with the activities of the appellate court, its place in the judicial system, as well as the requirements and procedure for conducting a court session.

On this topic, the curators of educational work of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held informational and educational talks for higher education students of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1–5 on the eve of the International Day of Remembrance of Chornobyl Disaster.
