
Students of Educational and Research Institute No. 5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the project of the Department of Education and Science of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine "Books for Heroes", collecting books for servicemen. Representatives of the student government visited the defenders, who are currently undergoing treatment, and presented them with works of writers.

Anna SUSHKOVA, senior lecturer at the Department of Legal Support of Entrepreneurial Activity and Financial Security of the ERI No. 5, underwent a three-day training as part of the 2nd module of the educational offline project from "Me and My School" together with the international non-governmental humanitarian organization "IsraAID in Ukraine" in Kyiv.

On behalf of the leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the Director of the Educational and Research Institute No. 5, Oksana BRUSAKOVA, signed a cooperation agreement with the director of the Eastern Interregional Center for the Provision of Free Legal Aid, Anatolii BORODAVKA.

At the initiative of the leadership of the ERI No. 5, representatives of the scientific and pedagogical staff and students took part in a guest lecture on the topic "Fundamentals of Cyber Hygiene". The speaker was Olha HABORETS, associate professor of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Information Security of the State Department of Internal Affairs, a certified OSCE trainer on cyber hygiene.

On this topic, the Head of the Department of Civil Law and Process of the ERI No. 5, Professor Yurii ZHORNOKUI and senior lecturer of the department Sofiia POPOVA, together with students, took a training course on the online platform HELP, in particular in English (Human Rights in the Armed Forces, Business and Human Rights).

Classes in the preparatory department of the ERI No. 5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs will begin on February 8, 2025. Within three months, applicants will be able to prepare qualitatively for admission to higher education institutions of Ukraine, in particular to the educational and scientific institutes of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Director of the ERI No. 5 Oksana BRUSAKOVA and Deputy Director Ella TVERDOKHLIB remotely presented Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs to the lyceum students, focusing on the specifics of admission and its Educational and Research Institutes.

On this topic, Olena SHAKHOVA, Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the ERI No. 5 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held an online lecture for psychologists of penitentiary institutions in Ukraine.

2nd year student Iryna BONDAR, who is studying in the specialty "Law enforcement activities", held a meeting with graduates of Yasnozirskyi Lyceum of Moshnivska Village Council of Cherkasy district of Cherkasy region. She introduced the youth to the Educational and Research Institutes of KhNUIA, and spoke about the specialties in which students and cadets are trained.

For students of the ERI No. 5, a lesson on the topic "Organization of the official activities of police officers, community police officers under martial law" was conducted by the deputy head of the department for interaction with communities of Kamianets-Podilskyi DPD of the Main Police Department in Khmelnytskyi region, Mykola KULISH, and professor of the Department of Law Enforcement Activities of the ERI No. 5, Mykola HOLUB.
