Christmas has been celebrated throughout Ukraine since ancient times with Christmas carols. This tradition is also supported by Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Every year, celebrating together, we are united by love for our native land and our history, respect and honor for Ukrainian traditions, customs and cultural heritage of our people.
Donating in time of war is one of the most important ways to save the lives of our wounded warriors. From the first days of the Russian aggression, Ukrainians formed queues for blood service centers. The staff and cadets of the university and its structural subdivisions — Sumy branch, Kremenchuk Flight College — have been and remain active participants in the donor movement for many years.
The training practice of cadets of the 3rd year of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA is coming to an end, the head of which was appointed Ihor Zozulia, Professor of the Department of Criminology, Forensic Expertise and Pre-medical training in Kamianets-Podilskyi district police department of the MDNP in Khmelnytskyi region.
Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-Trial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1 Alina Piddubna conducted an inspection of the educational practice of the 3rd year cadets and 4th year cadets of the Faculty No. 1 in the investigative department, police department No. 2, Kharkiv District Police Department No. 1 and No. 2, police department No. 1 of Kharkiv District Police Department No. 2 and No. 3 of the MDNP in Kharkiv region.
As part of the National Program of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, a group of psychologists from the Ministry of Internal Affairs units mastered the Israel Trauma And Resilience Center (Natal) program in Israel. Specialists of the Department of Psychological Support of the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs developed the training program "Crisis and Growth: Mental Health and Help for Trauma Survivors" and conducted training for practical psychologists of higher education institutions with specific training conditions that train police officers.
Oleksandr Morhunov, the first vice-rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, paid a working visit to Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 in Khmelnytskyi. He inspected the territory of the higher education institution and the dormitory, inspected the educational building, the shelter and the canteen.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, as part of cooperation with Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, received modern computer equipment for classes under the "Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations" educational program, with the help of which cadets acquire practical skills for the future profession of investigator and inquirer.
Tetiana Orlova, associate professor of the Department of Criminology, Forensic Expertise and Pre-medical Training of KhNUIA, checked the training practice of the cadets of the Faculty No. 1, in particular, the conditions of service, the correctness of keeping individual diaries, as well as their cooperation with practice mentors from practical units.
Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Process of the Faculty No. 1 Police Colonel Iryna Kazanchuk took part online in the work of the 1st International scientific and practical conference "Innovations and prospects for the development of science and technology in the XXI century: challenges of the future", which took place in Lodz, Poland.
Representatives of the "Plast" scouting organization congratulated the staff and cadets of Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of KhNUIA on Christmas and handed over the Bethlehem flame of peace. This is an international annual scouting campaign for Christmas celebrations, which consists in spreading the symbolic fire lit at the birthplace of Jesus Christ by scouts around the world.
