Dear colleagues, cadets, students, master's and adjunct students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs! Today we have a big holiday - on November 22, we celebrate the 28th anniversary of the founding of our native Alma Mater! Together with you, we chose the path of development and construction of our university and we will not stop in this process even for a moment. Even in the face of the forced relocation of our higher education institution due to the war in the country, we continue our educational and scientific activities, strengthen the material and technical base, set new goals and tasks, plan our future.
Representatives of the Department of Criminology, Forensic Expertise and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs constantly visit educational institutions of the country to conduct career orientation events. Recently, the lecturer of the department, Yevhenii Zozulia, visited the communal institution of Bezliudivska settlement council of Kharkiv region "Bezliudivskyi Lyceum", where he held an online meeting with future graduates.
Yuliia Zahumenna, professor of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law, and Tetiana Fomina, associate professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1, took part in the "Autumn School of Young Scientist 3.0", which was organized with the support of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in within the implementation of the British Council project "Active Citizens" and jointly with the "International Development Foundation".
For the cadets of Faculties No. 1 and 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organized a concert on the occasion of the Day of Dignity and Freedom of Ukraine. The concert included folk, modern and patriotic songs, excerpts from the works of prominent Ukrainian composers.
Kateryna Maravska, Ph.D., Senior Researcher of the Department of Organization of Scientific Work of the Department of Organization of Scientific Activity and Protection of Intellectual Property, conducted a series of video lectures for cadets of Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 on issues of compliance with the principles and rules of academic integrity at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
During the morning line-up of cadets of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the participants of the round table "Problems of ensuring the safety of citizens under martial law" and university athletes who took part in the competition and won prizes were awarded. Among them are winners and prize-winners of open tournaments in Muay Thai boxing and WAKO kickboxing.
Cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the open WAKO kickboxing tournament, which was held on November 18-19, 2022 in the city of Khmelnytskyi.
Yuliia Hlushkova, a student of the Faculty No. 6 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, together with Yana Melnyk and Dmytro Koval, 1st-year cadets of the Faculty No. 1, with the assistance of the Department of Sociology and Psychology, conducted career guidance work at Kamianets-Podilskyi Gymnasium No. 14, where they talked with high school students.
An online meeting of the cadet-student self-government leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the student-cadet self-government of Sumy branch of KhNUIA took place. Cadets and students discussed issues of self-government in martial law, current projects and directions for further cooperation.
At Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, practice-oriented classes on the special course "Actions of investigative and operational groups of the National Police on documenting crimes committed under martial law" are ongoing. Practical classes are conducted in the form of a police quest.
