Oksana Kruzhanivska, an investigator of Kamianets-Podilskyi RPD MDNP in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, and assistant professor of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law of the Faculty No. 1 of KhNUIA Olena Yushkevych conducted a binary class on the discipline "Theory of State and Law" for cadets of one of the study groups of the Faculty No. 1 on the topic "Implementation of legal norms".

Volunteers of the Red Cross Society conducted educational and training sessions

Cadets of the 3rd year of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in a 6-hour first aid training organized by the Red Cross Society of Ukraine. During the training modules, the participants got acquainted with the provision of first aid in emergency situations: bleeding, wounds, burns, injuries, frostbite.

Professional development

Yuliia Zahumenna, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty No. 1, has successfully completed a course in military law. This course is aimed at raising the level of awareness of lawyers to effectively address topical issues related to obtaining appropriate statuses, establishing benefits and guarantees, payments and monetary rewards for military personnel and their families.

The cadet of KhNUIA Roman Pshenychnyi is the winner of the WAKO Kickboxing World Cup

The WAKO World Kickboxing Cup was held in Budapest (Hungary), in which a 1st year cadet of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Roman Pshenychnyi took part. He competed as a member of the National Team of Ukraine. According to the results of the competition, Roman took second place in the 81 kg weight category.

University scientists are among the developers of the concept of transitional justice for Ukraine

The Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1, Doctor of Law, Professor Yurii Orlov became a moderator and speaker at the scientific and practical round table "Protection of Human Rights in the Ukrainian Model of Transitional Justice".

Curatorial work: practicing skills in premedical training

Vasyl Korniienko, curator of the study group, head of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training of the Faculty No. 1, held an additional lesson on premedical care for the cadets of the Faculty No. 1, the purpose of which was to practice skills in providing first emergency premedical care.

Career guidance work in the Main National Police in Chernivtsi region

The Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1, Police Major Yurii Orlov, visited the Main Department of the National Police in Chernivtsi Region, where he held career guidance meetings.

A class on first psychological aid was held for the employees of KhNUIA.

Under the chairmanship of the First Vice-Rector, Lieutenant Colonel of Police Viktor Vasylenko, a training session on the basics of first psychological aid was held for certified university employees at all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Viktor Vasylenko emphasized the importance of mastering the techniques of providing psychological assistance and overcoming stress for police officers to use in various situations of service and everyday life.
