On August 23, every year since 2004, Ukraine has honored one of its three key state symbols, the blue and yellow flag. It is also a national symbol. A symbol of our Ukrainian identity. A symbol of the struggle for freedom. The blue and yellow combination was established as the Ukrainian national colors during the European "Spring of Nations" in the 19th century.
On the eve of the National Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine, the Vice-Rector met with the freshmen of the camp training, cadets of the educational and research institutes of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
From September 17 to 21, 2024, the All-Ukrainian training "Dzhura - Police Officer" will be held for young people aged 15 to 18. The event is being implemented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Department of Youth and Sports of Kirovohrad Regional State Administration together with Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs, Kirovohrad Regional Center for Tourism and Local History of Student Youth.
During the camp for freshmen, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held a video lecture "History and Traditions of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs". Cadets from remote locations of the university joined the event online.
The curators of the educational work of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, Valentyna Lavrusenko, Maria Artiukhova and Andrii Prokhorov, held a series of lectures on the topic "National Symbols of Ukraine" for the students of the Faculties No. 1-4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
He talked to the deans, permanent and temporary staff of the faculties, inspected the academic building, the territory of the university, the dormitory, and checked the ongoing repair work at the university. The first vice-rector also talked to the parents of the first-year students.hi
The 2nd year cadets of Faculties 1 and 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs once again took part in a donor campaign. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, students of all faculties of the university have been actively involved in the volunteer movement, one of the areas of which is donation.
The cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the training on first aid organized by the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. During the training modules, licensed trainers familiarized the participants with the algorithm of first aid, the procedure for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and emergency actions in case of emergency.
These days, the Youth Day was celebrated internationally and in Ukraine. On this occasion, the curators of the faculties № 1-4 on educational work held a series of meetings with higher education students dedicated to the participation of young people in the development of Ukraine.
As part of their volunteer work, 2nd year cadets of the Faculty No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with representatives of the SOS Civil Aid Headquarters help unload material and technical equipment from the evacuated hospital in Myrnohrad, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region.
