The introductory practice for first-year cadets of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 is underway at Kamianets-Podilskyi District Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region.

During his working visit to Khmelnytskyi region, Oleksandr Morhunov, First Vice-Rector of the University, held a meeting with members of the Admissions Committee and representatives of the management of Faculties 1 and 4. The event took place on the eve of the registration of applicants and physical fitness tests, which will begin on July 22.

Oleksii Salmanov, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Organization of Pre-trial Investigation of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, PhD in Law, Associate Professor, has completed the training course "Online gambling, cyber threats, investigations" from the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) as part of the TOPCOP project.

The Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty No. 1, Doctor of Law, Professor Yurii Orlov, and a professor of the same department, Doctor of Law, Professor Andrii Yashchenko, became part of the team of researchers who won the competition for research and development projects "Science for the Reconstruction of Ukraine in the War and Postwar Periods" initiated by the National Research Foundation of Ukraine.

The first-year cadets of the Faculty No. 1 continue to undergo an introductory practice in various units of Kamianets-Podilskyi District Police Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi region. Introductory practice is carried out in order to consolidate the theoretical knowledge gained during the study of academic disciplines in accordance with the field of study.

Employees of the Faculty No. 1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - Deputy Dean Major Serhii Sevriukov, specialist Ruslan Yedyn, leading specialist Lieutenant Colonel Volodymyr Nahievych and specialist Senior Lieutenant Vladyslav Starovoitov - successfully completed the courses "Professional Development of Teachers: New Requirements and Opportunities" and "Basic Psychological Assistance in Warfare" on the Prometheus platform.

Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law of the Faculty No. 1 Yuliia Zahumenna took part in the round table with international participation "Peace. Security. Education", dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Day of the Ukrainian UN Peacekeeper.

For the purpose of military and patriotic and national and patriotic education of cadet youth, a meeting of the variable and permanent staff of the Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign "Sanych" was held.

Vice-Rector of the University Anatolii Klochko held a working meeting with the heads of the university's structural subdivisions. During the online meeting, issues related to the actualization and implementation of new forms and methods of national and patriotic education of young people, the formation and sustainable development of their self-identity and patriotism were discussed.

On July 17, 2023, at 13.00, at the initiative of the Dean of the Faculty No. 6 of KhNUIA Oksana Brusakova, an online meeting will be held with the real heroes of Ukraine, defenders of Mariupol from the Azov Regiment - Davyd Kasatkin, Lev Pashko, and Illia Samoilenko. We invite students, cadets and academic staff of the university to attend the meeting.
