On Memorial Day of the Defenders of Ukraine, cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs put flowers at the monument to the Heavenly Hundred Heroes and the Heroes of the ATO on Taras Shevchenko Square in Vinnytsia.

The Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine - military personnel and members of voluntary formations, who fallen in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state, perpetuation of their heroism, strengthening of the patriotic spirit in society - is celebrated on August 29. It was initiated by the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 621/2019 of August 23, 2019.

For cadets of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organized a video lecture "Prevention of the use of narcotic substances." The event was attended by representatives of the state institution "Vinnytsia Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine".

As part of the celebration of the Independence Day of Ukraine, the lecture "Independence Day of Ukraine in the light of the thousand-year history of state formation" was organized by the Department of Social and Humanitarian work for cadets of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

On the occasion of important public holidays, including the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work organized a thematic video lecture for cadets of the Faculties No. 2 and No. 3. A popular lecture accompanied by original illustrative materials was given by an Associate Professor of the Department of History and Culture of Ukraine of Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University named after M. Kotsiubynskyi, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Anatolii Voinarovskyi.

On the eve of Independence Day of Ukraine, second-year cadets of the Faculty No. 2 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, with the assistance of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, took part online in the round table "Independence of Ukraine: Achievements and Prospects", which took place on the basis of the Vinnytsia Regional Universal Scientific Library.

Oleksandr Skliar, a lecturer of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs completed the online course "Basic Psychological Assistance in War Conditions" on the Prometheus open platform, developed as part of the "Urgent EU Support for Civil Society" project, implemented by ISAR Union with the financial support of the European Union.

On the eve of the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine and the 31st anniversary of the Independence Day of Ukraine, the Rector of the University, Police General of the Third Rank Valerii Sokurenko, honored the employees and cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs for conscientious performance of their official duties, initiative and perseverance.

On the eve of Flag Day and Independence Day of Ukraine, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, with the assistance of Vinnytsia Regional Museum of Local History, started familiarization with the new mobile exhibition "State-Building Traditions in Vinnytsia Region" for cadets of Faculties No. 2 and No. 3. 

The lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3 - Senior Lecturer of the Department Volodymyr Yevtushok and Senior Lecturer of the Department Mykhailo Inshekov conducted an field practical lesson on tactical and special training for the cadets of the Faculty No. 1 on the topic "Practice of individual tactical actions of National Police employees under conditions of intensive fire contact by tactical small groups" using paintball equipment.
