KhNUIA cadets serve to protect public safety and order

During the Christmas and New Year holidays, the cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are on duty to ensure public safety and order in all cities where the university is located. Vice-Rector Serhii Bortnyk conducted a briefing with the personnel before the service.

Educational conversations with freshmen

Employees of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held individual educational conversations with freshmen of the faculties №1-4 with the participation of Assistant to the Rector Viktor Slysh. Among the topics discussed with the cadets on the eve of the vacation were compliance with the requirements of official discipline and law, transport discipline, rules of conduct on the Internet, prevention of alcohol and drug use, etc.

Help for the fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Employees and students of the Master's program of the Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs handed over necessary medicines, disposable chemical heating pads, winter camouflage nets, etc. to the soldiers of one of the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who are defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country in  Mariinskyi direction.

Supporting the mental health of Ukrainian law enforcement officers

As part of the Psychological Practices Unit project, which aims to introduce high-quality and effective mental health support tools in the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, Svitlana Kharchenko, a professor at the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, Faculty № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, met with Anastasia Mertsalova and Alina Zhuk, psychologists at Kharkiv District Police Department № 1 of the MDNP of Kharkiv Region.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted a conference of the staff of the Faculty No. 3, which was held by the Dean of the Faculty, Police Major Hennadii Zvirianskyi. At the beginning of the event, the Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko addressed the audience.

Briefing for cadets before the internship

On the eve of the cadets' internship in the 2023-2024 academic year and vacation leave, the management of Faculties № 2 and № 3 held a meeting with 2nd and 3rd year students studying in the specialties "Law", "Psychology", "Law Enforcement" and "Accounting and Taxation".

Nataliia Miloradova, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty № 3 of KhNUIA, together with Svitlana Tuntuieva, Manager of the Development of Family Forms of Education of the International Charitable Organization "SOS Children's Villages of Ukraine" conducted a binary lesson with the 4th year cadets of the Faculty № 3 on the topic "Social and psychological component of rehabilitation of persons with disabilities".

As part of the national and patriotic and military and patriotic education of young people, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held the event "Know the Hero", during which cadets told about the defenders who gave their lives to preserve the independence and sovereignty of our state.

Practical training on providing assistance according to the MARCH algorithm

Lecturers of the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training of the Faculty No. 3 Oleksandr Skliar, Anna Tsyrkulenko and a specialist of the same faculty Andrii Proutorov conducted a class for the 1st year cadets of the Faculty No. 3 on rendering assistance according to the MARCH algorithm.
