Olena Chornous, Head of the Recruiting and Career Guidance Department, together with representatives of the Faculty № 3, held meetings with graduates of Kalynivka Lyceum № 2 of Kalynivka City Council of Vinnytsia Oblast and Kalynivka Technological Vocational College.
The event was held in support of those who have experienced or are experiencing traumatic experiences related to the hostilities in Ukraine to draw attention to crimes of violence committed by the Russian military. The charity race was attended by cadets of the Faculties № 2 and № 3 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs
Representatives of KhNUIA took part in a training on premedical (first aid) care in case of trauma organized by the NGOs Lviv Environmental Foundation and Special Training Center.
Nataliia Miloradova, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, and Viktoriia Dotsenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, conducted classes on the implementation of the "Way to Victory" rehabilitation program as part of the public project "Search for the Future". The goal of the event is to prevent professional burnout and improve the skills of workers in auxiliary professions. Psychologists from the security and defense sector of Ukraine participated in the program.
Nataliia Horbach, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty № 4 of KhNUIA, prepared and conducted a roundtable discussion in English on the topic "Methods of Investigating a Crime in English Literature" for cadets of the Faculties № 2 and № 3. The event was attended by Ihor Nazarenko, Dean of the Faculty № 2, Hennadii Zvirianskyi, Dean of the Faculty № 3, and deputy deans.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a hand-to-hand fighting championship on the occasion of the University's foundation day, which was attended by cadets of the faculties №№ 1-4. During the opening ceremony, the participants performed the National Anthem of Ukraine and observed a minute of silence in memory of the soldiers who died defending Ukraine, civilians and victims of the Holodomor.
A regular meeting of the department's scientific circle was devoted to the use of a polygraph in the professional activities of law enforcement officers. The students majoring in Psychology mastered practical skills in lie detection through the use of tools, learned to fix sensors, read and decipher polygraphs.
Pavlo Chervonyi, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty No. 3, held a career guidance meeting with 11th grade students studying at Gymnasium No. 65 in Kharkiv. The event was attended by the deputy director of the gymnasium Nataliia Kovtun.
The management of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held an online meeting with future applicants and their parents from Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia and Kyiv regions on the topic "Features of admission and study at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in 2024".
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted the first stage of the contest with the assistance of the Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty № 2 and the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Faculty № 6.
