Valentyna Pochuieva, associate professor of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of the Faculty No. 4 of KhNUIA, took part in a number of online trainings from Dinternal Education LLC: "Intensive preparation for English language exams in senior classes with the Formula course", "MyGRAMMARLab: An innovative tool for teaching and learning grammar of the English language" and "Methodical toolkit for the development of successful communication in English for an adult audience".

Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs invited the youth of Khmelnytskyi region to the Open Door Day. Almost 300 graduating students, their parents, teachers and friends came to the City House of Culture to learn more about the institution of higher education and talk with its representatives.

Head of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of the Faculty No. 4 of KhNUIA Olena Stativka took part in an online training from Dinternal Education LLC "Integration of elements of exam preparation into the general curriculum of learning English with the manual FOCUS ON EXAMS.UA, where the issues of optimal balance between the development of speech competence of students and checking their readiness for the exam were discussed.

Larysa Sazanova, senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of the Faculty No. 4 and curator of the first-year group, held a conversation "Formation of the speech culture of a police officer." The peculiarities of the activity of law enforcement officers, the ability to correctly and clearly express one's opinion during communication with representatives of different strata of the population were discussed.

Acting Dean of the Faculty No. 4 Mykola Marchuk, Deputy Dean of the Faculty No. 4 Yurii Onyshchenko and Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law Andrii Voitsikhovskyi held a meeting with cadets of Faculties No. 1 and No. 4 on the occasion of the International Day of Combating Violence Against Women.

Representatives of the Department of Criminal Analysis of the National Police of Ukraine - Acting Deputy Chief - Head of the 1st Department (Analytical) Police Lieutenant Colonel Dens Tsvietkov, Head of the 3rd Department of Operational Monitoring of the 1st Department (Analytical) Police Lieutenant Colonel Vitalii Shamordin and Head of the Department of Criminal Analysis of the MDNP in Khmelnytskyi region, police major Oleksandr Stadnik held a meeting with cadets of the Faculty No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - future cyber policemen.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted the 1st stage of the 23rd International Competition of Experts of Ukrainian Language named after Petro Yatsyk, which has already become traditional. Its purpose is to establish the state status of the Ukrainian language, raise its prestige among young people, foster respect for the culture and traditions of the Ukrainian people, improve language education in Ukraine, identify creatively gifted youth, and develop their potential.

Nataliia Horbach, a senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of the Faculty No. 4, held a meeting of the scientific group on the topic "The English sentence. Peculiarities of the structure of imperative sentences". Cadets examined examples of imperative declarative, interrogative sentences and negative sentences with modal verbs in modern English.

At Kharkiv National University, within the framework of the Week of Ukrainian Writing and Language, the 1st stage of the 13th Taras Shevchenko International Language and Literary Competition for Pupils and Students took place, which was organized by the Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty No. 2 and the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Faculty No. 6.
