Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Valerii Sokurenko with the participation of vice-rectors of the university - Serhii Bortnyk, Mykhailo Burdin and Anatolii Klochko- held a working meeting with deans of faculties, heads of departments on organization of educational process of cadets and students after winter vacations and lockdown.
A meeting of curators of the Legal Clinic of KhNUIA was held, dedicated to the planning of work for the second semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. The event was attended by the teachers of faculties №№ 1–4, who joined the staff of the Legal Clinic. An online conference to curators working in the distance was also held during the meeting.
An online meeting with future entrants took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University Mykhailo Burdin, Assistant Rector Viktor Slysh, Head of the Department for Work with Students, Representative of the Admissions Committee Maryna Davydova, and Deans of all Faculties of the university.
The team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs achieved 5-th place in the world ranking at “Hack The Box” internet platform, dedicated for practical skills training concerning penetration testing for different network node types in special virtual media.
Associate Professor of the Department of Civil and Legal Disciplines of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Legal Sciences Svitlana Yasechko undertook international training on “Online learning as a non-traditional form of modern education on the example of the MOODLE platform” (Lublin City, the Republic of Poland).
Yevheniia Lohvynenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional and International Law of the Faculty No. 4 took part in the webinar “Alternatives to Google Drive: convenient and effective ways to collect, store and share information” in the areas of “Information and Communication Technologies”, “Integrated Learning”, “Practical Techniques”.
Despite quarantine measures, introduced in Ukraine, associated with overcoming the epidemic of coronaviral disease, the representatives of the Faculty No. 4 (cyberpolice) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continue to support the work of a chat-bot “StopDrugs”, developed by them. One of the modern ways to counter drug crime is to block the e-mail addresses of Internet messengers that drug traffickers use in their illegal activities. An important indicator is the number of complaints received by the Internet Messenger Administration from its Users.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs trains cyber-police officers at the Faculty No. 4. The main areas of practical activity of graduates of the Faculty are counteraction to offenses committed with the use of high information technologies.
The championship of Kharkiv region among juniors and seniors on sambo took place. Athletes from Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs also took part in the competition. According to the
results of the competition, the university representatives became winners and won prizes.
Faculty No. 4 (cyberpolice) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held an online meeting with entrants, their adult relatives, representatives of secondary schools, the staff of the National Police of Ukraine from Kharkiv, Kyiv, Luhansk, Sumy, Donetsk, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv and Volyn Regions.
