Thematic information and educational talks were held

For higher education students of the Educational and Research Institutes Nos. 1-4, the curators of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work held thematic information and educational talks on combating drug and other addictions. They told the cadets about the impact of drugs on human development and the emergence of drug addiction.

Lyceum students were invited to study at police university

Lidiia Kalienichenko, Head of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies of the ERI №4 of KhNUIA, together with Volodymyr Sokhatiuk, a 1st year cadet of the ERI №4, told the students of Netishyn Academic Lyceum of Khmelnytskyi region about the benefits of studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and the peculiarities of the 2025 admission campaign.

War crimes - the topic of a binary class

Vitalii Demykhin, investigator of the Investigative Department for Detection of Crimes Committed Against Life and Health of Kamianets-Podilskyi Main Department of the National Police in Khmelnytskyi Region, and Larysa Sazanova, senior lecturer of the Language Training Department of KhNUIA, held a class on the subject of Foreign Language for Professional Purposes for first-year cadets of the ERI No. 4.

We invite representatives of KhNUIA to participate in the International Conference on Human Rights

In March 2025, the University of Tokyo will hold an International Conference on Human Rights in a mixed format. All those wishing to participate in it should submit abstracts in the following areas by 30 November 2024: gender equality, censorship and the right to expression, climate change and humanitarian action, business and human rights.

Artem Hromovych, a cadet of the ERI №4, took part in the programme ‘Dialogue of Student Unity: Ukraine and Lithuania’

The intercultural exchange united the student youth of the two countries and provided an opportunity to expand and strengthen friendly ties, deepen and further develop relations between Ukraine and Lithuania. The event included visits to a number of Ukrainian cities.

The implementation of the language training project ‘A way to Europe’ continues at KhNUIA

Last year, the Department of Language Training of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs launched the project ‘A Way to Europe’ for in-depth study of English by higher education students. The project is focused on learning English using an innovative method of blended learning.

Partnership between law enforcement and society

This was the topic of a practical lesson in sociology for second-year students of the ERI №4, specialising in Law Enforcement, conducted by Serhii Semenov, attorney-at-law, managing partner of the Law Group ‘Liga Zakhyst’, together with Oksana Melnychuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Economic Disciplines of the ERI №4.

Online meeting with future graduates of Kharkiv Lyceum №12

Mariana Sidletska, Deputy Head of the course of the ERI No. 4, and Vladyslav Kochyn, 2nd year cadet of the ERI No. 4, introduced the high school students to the peculiarities of the 2025 admission campaign, the conditions for admission to Kharkiv Police University, and told them about the educational and research institutes and specialities.

The 1st stage of the XXV International Competition of Ukrainian Language Specialists named after Petro Yatsyk took place at KhNUIA

The lecturers of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies of KhNUIA conducted the event, the purpose of which is to ensure the comprehensive development and functioning of the Ukrainian language in all spheres of social life, and to raise the prestige of the Ukrainian language among young people. Education seekers competed for the title of the best connoisseur of the Ukrainian language.

Cadets of the ERI No. 4 took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Digitalization of Forensic Science in Martial Law"

The event, organized by the National Scientific Center "Institute of Forensic Expertise named after Hon.Prof. M. S. Bokarius" with the support of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, brought together experts, scientists, representatives of state structures and young researchers from Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Italy and other countries.
