Participation in the workshop "International Law and Cooperation in the times of COVID-19"

Participants of the School of Scientific Leadership of the Faculty № 1 of KhNUVS took part in the workshop "International Law and Cooperation in the Times of COVID-19", which took place at Kharkiv Diplomatic Club. The event was a partner of the YEAS initiative, which has been implemented in Ukraine by the EU Neighbors East project since 2016.

Presentation of international opportunities for youth

At the initiative of the School of Scientific Leadership, presentation of international opportunities for cadets of the 2nd and 3rd courses of Faculty No. 1 of the KhNUIA took place. The event was attended by the Head of the Department of International Cooperation Olena Ustymenko and the Deputy Dean of the Faculty № 1 for educational and methodological work Vladyslav Neviadovskyi.

Training "Psychological Support in Extreme Situations" Completed at KhNUIA

With the support of the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine (@OSCE.Ukraine.Projects), the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine the second stage of the project international technical assistance "Building the training capacity of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on psychological support in extreme situations" took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, Ambassador Henrik Villadsen visited Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.  The guests met with the Rector of the University, the Third-Ranked Police General Valerii Sokorenko and the First Vice-Rector of the University, Police Colonel Dmytro Shvets.

Iryna Puriha, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Head of the Personnel Department of the Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, and Nataliia Duravkina, Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines, Associate Professor, received the International Educational Grant №IEG / U / 2021/04/12 and took part in the International Internships "Outstanding Personalities: Exploring Experiences and Professional Achievements for the Formation of a Successful Personality and the Transformation of the World Around Us".

Participation in training webinars on gender-based and domestic violence

Maryna Haidenko, a participant of the School of Scientific Leadership, a cadet of the 2nd year of the Faculty of KhNUIA, took part in training seminars "Increasing the capacity of non-governmental organizations to raise awareness of gender-based and domestic violence and work with clients in COVID-19".

Participation in the international youth exchange program within the framework of the Erasmus+ project

Mykyta Bielievtsov, Deputy Head of the School of Scientific Leadership, the third year cadet of Faculty №1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the international youth exchange program in France (Reims) within the framework of the Erasmus+ project. The aim of the project was intercultural exchange and raising awareness of youth in environmental issues and environmental protection.

Participants from Ukraine, Greece, the Czech Republic, France and Germany listened to a course of lectures on  the topic "Learn about "Green professions"", presented national culture, traditions and history at cultural exchange parties.

Online Meeting of Working Group on Human Rights

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, particulary specialists of Department of International Cooperation Inna Savina and Alona Subocheva, took part in an online meeting of Working Group on Human Rights organized by Kharkiv office of UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.
