It has become a tradition at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs to hold online webinars organized by the University's Department of International Cooperation with the support of the European Union Advisory Mission Field Office in Kharkiv.
The webinar on the topic “Restorative Justice. Mediation and facilitation in criminal proceedings” took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, which is the first in the series of webinars from EUAM Field Office. The webinars will be conducted weekly during November and December 2020.

4th-year cadets of the Faculty No. 4 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, ordinary police Anhelina Prymenko, Mykyta Seliukov and Vladyslav Khromenkov took part in a three-day educational quest on the investigation of crimes related to human trafficking, which was organized by the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine for applicants of all higher education institutions with specific training conditions that train police officers.

Webinars in English for higher education applicants, researchers and academic staff of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Sumy branch and Kremenchuk Flight College, were conducted weekly with consecutive translations into Ukrainian by the EUAM Field Office in Kharkiv during September and October.
The project is based on the EU Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025, which envisions the creation of Europe as a place where both women and men are equal, where diversity is a recognized asset for the economy and society. However, an effective mechanism for strategy implementation to eliminate gender inequality and implement non-discriminatory practices has not been developed yet.
The event was organized by the Office of the Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings and the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR).
Webinar on the topic “Officer or individual? Police in social media accounts” took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Tuomo Korhonen, Senior Adviser on General Policing of European Union Advisory Mission Field Office in Kharkiv was the main speaker of the event.
