A regular meeting of the scientific group took place at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty № 1. Its head - Professor of the Department, Doctor of Law, Professor Andrii Yashchenko told the cadets about the most relevant areas of research in the field of criminal law, criminology, criminal executive law.

Associate professors of the Department of Sociology and Psychology of the Faculty №6 KhNUIA Olena Shakhova and Volodymyr Filonenko completed the international scholar and academic internship “Innovations in education. Innovative technologies for lecturing professional disciplines” (Innovations in education. Innovative technologies for lecturing professional disciplines) in Katowice (Poland).

Academic staff of the Department of Civil Law and Proceedings of Faculty №6 KhNUIA Yurii Zhornokui, Oleh Syniehubov, Volodymyr Kroitor, Oleksandr Kukhariev, Larysa Krasytska took part in the XI International Civil Forum “On the way to European private law”.

The Department of Ukrainian Studies of the Faculty No. 2 of KhNUIA held an on-site meeting of the scientific group on the topic "Slobozhanshchina in names and dates. Hryhorii Skovoroda" in Skovorodynivka village. The event was supported by the trade union of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Sumy branch, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a round table for first-year cadets within All-Ukrainian Law Week according to the integrated methodology "Modern Language Legislation and Language Policy in Ukraine".

Yuliia Zahumenna, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of the State and Law, Faculty №1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, took part in the international round table “Virtual Assets in the Development of the National Economy”.

The scientific life of cadets at the Faculty №2 KhNUIA is gaining momentum. Another vivid confirmation of this was the open meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Social and Economic Sciences. The meeting was attended by the Head and members of the circle, lecturers of the Department, as well as cadets of the Faculty.

Daryna Prykhodko, the third-year student, and Al Khatatnekh Mesun Moaed Mokhkhamed Dz., the second-year student, under the leadership of the professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines of the branch Nataliia Horobets took part in the International Conference “Private and Public Relations: Problems of Theory and Practice”

Employees of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of  the Faculty №1 – Professor Yurii Orlov, Senior Lecturer Oleksandr Olishevskyi and Lecturer Nataliia Tsvirkun took part in a scientific seminar on “Current issues of criminal policy of the European Union”.

Deputy Chairman of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, the Head of Kharkiv Press Club Oleksandr Shvets took part in the IV National Media Talk Conference. He told how the interaction of Kharkiv journalists and the police helped to make popular the telegram-bot “StopNarcotics”, developed by cadets and teachers of the Faculty №4 (cyberpolice) of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
