The next meeting of the scientific circle of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Criminology and Expertise of the ERI No. 5, which was held under the chairmanship of the Associate Professor of the Department, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Svitlana LOZOVA. The topic of the event was the use of special knowledge (traceology and trace research) in the investigation of crimes.

The Heads of the university's Research laboratories, Kostiantyn BUHAICHUK and Serhii SHATRAVA, participated in the meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the development of a HRM strategy in law enforcement agencies and the prosecutor's office.

Professor of the Department of Language Training of KhNUIA Oleh HONCHARUK took part in the VIII correspondence International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference "Scientific Achievements of Contemporary Society" (London). Under the scientific guidance of the professor, cadets Maksym SITALO and Oleksandr MARYNKEVYCH joined the work of the conference.

Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies, Candidate of Philological Sciences Natalia KOBYLKO and student of the ERI No. 5 Olha DOMITRYSHYNA took part in the All-Ukrainian scientific online conference of students, postgraduates and young scientists "Ukrainian Literature in the Space of Culture and Civilization".

On April 25, 2025, the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Digital Transformation of Rights: EU and Ukraine” will be held at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, organized by the Department of Civil, Labor and Economic Law of the ERI No. 1. 

A regular meeting of the scientific group of the Department of Criminal Procedure, Forensics and Expertise of the ERI No. 5 of KhNUIA was held on this topic. The Head of the group, Associate Professor of the Department Svitlana LOZOVA, held an information session for students on mine safety.

As part of studying the discipline "Methodology of Scientific Activity", students of specialty 081 "Law" together with Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA Olena LUKIANYKHINA took part in the online webinar "Women in Science: Celebrating Inclusion and Shaping the Future of Research".

The priority tasks of training qualified specialists at the ERI No. 4 are the comprehensive development of cadets, the disclosure of their personal qualities, their involvement in scientific and research activities in compliance with the principles of academic integrity, and the increase of scientific potential through the implementation of non-formal (informal) education.

The abstracts of the report on the topic "Human rights issues under martial law" at the 8th All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Cadet (Student) Conference in foreign languages ​​were presented by the cadet of the ERI No. 1, Anzhela STETSIUK.

Dmytro LESHCHENKO, Associate Professor of the Department of Postgraduate Studies (Adjunct) and Doctoral Studies of the University, remotely participated in the Winter School of a Young Scientist, which became a platform for scientific discussions. The school program included lectures by leading specialists, panel discussions, interactive tasks, etc.
