June 11, 2021, marks exactly 100 years since the day when training for the police began in Kharkiv. It is known that the beginning of the training of Ukrainian law enforcement officers in our place dates back to November 30, 1917, but the coming to power of the Bolsheviks with the end of the Ukrainian Revolution and the Civil War significantly changed the political situation in the republic. However, the new government also needed law enforcement personnel to protect public order.
Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs hosted a competition among cadets and students for the title of "Best Law Enforcement Officer". They were attended by the national teams of the faculties No. 1-4 and the Institute of Postgraduate Education. According to the results of the competition, the winner was the faculty No. 3.
Within the discipline "Conflictology" for cadets of the 2nd year of group 101 of Sumy branch a binary lesson was held with the participation of a practical psychologist of MI "Center of combatants", consultant of the SETA program Inna Shkafenko.
Participant of the School of Scientific Leadership 1st year cadet of the Faculty №1 of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Diana Shpak took part in the competition of projects about Lesya Ukrainka, presenting her own page on the social network Facebook, dedicated to the outstanding Ukrainian writer, her life history, work, passion for foreign languages and love.
The competition for the title of "Best Law Enforcement Officer" ended at the university, in which five teams from the faculties №№ 1-4 and the Institute of Postgraduate Education took part. According to the results of the assessment of the correctness of the tasks, the winner and prize-winners of the competition were determined.
Nataliia Shyshka, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines, Faculty 4, Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, will hold an open lecture on the subject "Civil Law and Procedure" on the topic "General Provisions on Obligations".
A presentation of the functional model Custody Records, used by the police authority for the improvement of the compliance with standards of rights protection of detained persons took place at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the basis of military training area “Training Police Department”.
The British Council together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine continuing to implement a three-year program of all-Ukrainian academic mobility "Student Academic Mobility (SAM) Ukraine". This program is one of the components of the EU programme House of Europe and is implemented over the period 2020-2022.
Students majoring in "Law" (group PZdms 19-1) of faculty No.6 of KhNUIA defended knowledge and skills acquired during their internship. Members of the commission had the opportunity to estimate students’ theoretical knowledge and acquired practical skills.
At the Institute of Postgraduate Education police officers from various units of the National Police of Ukraine have started training on advanced training courses. Among them, there are - 20 police officers responsible for the detention of detainees, 27 investigators, 29 cybercrime investigators, 29 information and analytical support officers, and 27 patrol officers.
